I have started a new coaster, and have ventured into an area where I am not completely experienced. I have only made one other GCI type coaster (El Torcer), and it was very pumpy, lacked excitement, and had virtually no airtime. This time, it is going to be very different hopefully.

Gyrator will have a good amount of airtime, and will have the signature twisting movements like a real GCI coaster does. I have tried to make it compact enough to have great forces, while sustaining good g's. Here are some pics of what I have so far:

Tell me how I am doing, and what I need to change to make it the most realistic GCI I can. Good and bad feedback is wanted please!

After working for a while this morning, I have made some good progress. For the rest of the updates, I think I am going to use NLDC, just so I don't have to upload all of the pics on here.

Those 4 pics are the new update. I need you to tell me what I need to do to improve or change, hence me creating this thread. I know you're out there, so please help me!

Don't you know that no one knows how to actually do GCI and they just end up blowing it with way too flowy turns and all leads. DUH!

Don't be a baby and use the wooden tag as an easy way out. Take your time to shape your transitions and such in a GCI manor and actually show some effort.

Jake's right, Casey.

I hope you'll be custom supporting this ride, one, because GCI-like supports can't be made with auto supports, and two, the area I just showed will need it pretty bad.

Also, Casey, I'm seeing pretty much those swerving turns again and absolutely no airtime.

You want to bet that there isn't any airtime?

Of course I will be custom supporting this otherwise I wouldn't design a turn like that. And about the swerving turns: it's a GCI. They are the type of coasters that are going to have turns that may swerve a little. They aren't the same swerving turns as my others anyway.

And Jakizle, you're right. I will be working differently making it more like a GCI with the transitions. I will try my best to make it something like the real ones.

A little? Casey, I'm sorry but I think you should include at least one or two of those classic GCI turnarounds and maybe a few more hops. All I see in this ride is about 90% swerving turns, not a little...

Gerstlcrazy is right...and plus your curves (like the one in the photo he pointed out) aren't done correctly in the first place.

Just take your time and you'll get it.
