You are right. An Intamin with the power of S&S. Possibly a record breaker?

No height variation, so quite frankly it looks boring.

I wouldn't be to quick to judge. XLC has a simple yet intense layout. TTD has a simple yet intense layout. Intamin / S&S lets combine the two.

And XLC is widely considered a dissapointing one trick pony, as is ttd to lesser extents...and in NL, anything ttd-like that isn't a recreation is a waste of time...we've all seen them before.

Yes, I have seen some that are a waste of time but I think this one is pretty good. It isn't insane though, I wanted to keep it within realistic bounds. Actually, it is pretty insane! I have two pictures for you.

One: I started on supports

Two: Another teaser.. aha.

[lol] That was some funny stuff to read.

Also, you can keep a ride within realistic limits while still keeping it insane. Voyage?

OH SNAP! CROSSOVERS!!! AND A LAUNCH SEGMENT!!! TOO COOL! I wouldnt support the launch like that either (im assuming your showing the launch because you think the supports are cool, not because you think I like the color yellow). Its unrealistic, and looks kinda flimsy. Just keep it normal.

I'm a little confused. The supports look unrealistic and flimsy or something else? Whatever it is, how should I fix it?

Aha, I didn't see it coming out like that. I was trying to say that the ride was pretty insane but still within realism. I have no idea why I typed it like that!

Oh, so just keep it simple. No complex supports for the launch area? Alright, I'll give you guys another photo update soon.

[edit]

I got 3 more picture's showing progress.

Picture 1: New plain and simple supports for the launch area. (looks better)

Pictures 2 and 3: New supports taking shape.

Ok, I can't sleep so I worked on some more supports. Just to let you guys know, I'm not supporting in order. Just a guess, would say I am 25% done with supports. Here's one more picture for the night.

What about:
"Seconds to live"?
Or somewhat nicer:
"Seconds to life for"?

Ehh, it wouldn't really work for the ride. It's a mix between an Intamin and a S&S. XRC would stand for Xtreme Rocket Coaster. Although the name is still not official, it is what I have for now.

I do like the cleaner more simple support style, though dont make it so boxy (second picture at the end of page one). Keep it clean, yet practical, you would never see a support that boxy. Why would it be 20 feet wide if it only needs to be 10 feet wide? Right?

Also, add one more support between the last one of the launch, and the first one of that turn.

If it's going HIGH, you could call it SpaceFlight or something

In that picture you can only see one wide one. There is actually three though. I made them like that because it looks really cool speeding threw them. I want to speed threw them, but If you think the style of supports are weird for it, what should I change it to?

It doesn't actually go that high. It goes kind of high but not that high. I wanted to get some ejector airtime over the tophat.

Ok, I'm leaving my house till later tonight so I'll give you guys another teaser... Notice something?
