Hey Everyone:

I have a question about using HSAK. I am trying to make a cool first drop for my new coaster. It is a standard drop that finishes with a 90 degree right turn. I have been able to generate elements in HSAK where I make a 90 degree turn with a -50 degree entry slope, but it's a little bit too abrupt/sharp. I tried using the Increase Radius, but I lose the 90 degree shape. I am trying to sort of stretch out the 90 degree turn so that it makes a nice transition. The effect I am going for is sort of like the second drop of Goliath at SFGA. Here's a picture. Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately, this is one of those things that is really hard to do with HSAK. Have you tried using the zerrx option to stretch the element?

I was thinking that i would be able to load the 90 degree element in to the Purg and stretch it on the X axis. What do you think about that?

^That'd probably work even better, though you've got to be cautious of too much distortion/pumping. It's really a matter of just playing around with it a lot [:P]

If all else fails, you can always insert the element into the editor and edit the lower part. If there aren't many segments, this is pretty easy to do.

yeah, i tried scaling it by the x axis, and that did NOT do what I wanted it to... figures. I think i might just try and learn FVD.

Yeah, you can make this type of transition in FVD and very easily.

There isn't. He meant Goliath At SFOG. SFGA has Raging Bull.
