Has anyone experienced continuous BS over at Coastersims.com? Does anyone eles find their site WAY too serious and strict? I've always been treated rudely by the staff, so I was wondering if it wasn't just me.

It's not just you. Although we treat some members rudely here as well, but only the ones that truly deserve it.

Yeah erik we've all heard the bits and pieces of CoasterSims' lifestyle. I was talking to jackfrahn for a few days when I got myself registered there for a few days post-ban. He says it's the true way to run a site, with power. He says to be strict is to be wise probably because it keeps members in line. The only reason I'd stay there anyway is for the active chatroom and the exchange...

We have way more fun on this site than on CoasterSims. With fun staff and no download limit how can we not have a better time.

Yeah and who needs to be forced to rate? We have the superb, frequent raters getting that covered for us!

Well if you just follow the rules CS is actually a pretty nice site..there are some really cool and smart people, it has the best designers, and the chat is always active.

I really like the rate rule too...because here on WWS some of my rides have 300 downloads with only 2 rates.

I'd rather have minimal rates than the ones I have now...

The rate limit sometimes forces lazy people to drop random, short, and pointless rates that could never help you improve. I still like the site though.

Well, you have to remember, it's the community that makes a site. Not it's rules. If you have really strict rules governed by a bunch of pricks governing a bunch of pricks, the site is still full of a bunch of pricks. On the other end of the sword is the site that is laxidasicle and full of lazy people. (Not setting these examples to WWS or CS exclusively.) You can have all of the rules and enforcement you want, but if people don't do what they should anyway, there's no point in having a bunch of rules nor is there reason to be laxed with them.

It depends on the day whether I like CS or not. If I'm conversing with somebody who is just there for fun and can realize what a joke is or see sarcasm and laugh, it'll be a good day. But if it's one of the other members, my opinion changes drastically.

I don't know why I'm writing all of this crap about a site I rarely visit, so I'ma shut up now.

What a little kid thing to say. Grow up and learn to accept that different people like different things, and just because it's not your thing doesn't necessarily mean that it sucks.

I read your post. Haha, the part about the pricks reminds me of Lewis Black. And I would like to add: The chat on there is not always active. 2 out of 3 times I go in the chat and there could be upwards of 4 people and they would be idle.
