Maybe a turn, possibly an inversion, could be something new. There is something I have said or showed you in this thread that explains this bank... Ok, talk to you guys later!

Does the -172 bank happen in one second? That could be painful, man...

4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka

Possibly something similar, I'm still thinking. The color's are not final. I'm just experimenting.

That would be painful, and no! Something else happens in one second, something record breaking. Nice guess though. Think/Look harder, it will hit you when you see it.

OKAY... Why picture up-side-down???
And BTW, what about:
It crashes in 1 second after launch?
Or:
It goes from 0 - 200 km/h in 1 second?
Or:
The coaster takes 1 second to ride [:O]?

Oh, I'm still going to add more to the supports. Maybe little connectors between the a-shaped ones.

Picture's not up-side-down. Like I said, weird angle. No, it does not crash in 1 second. 200 km/h is like 124-125 mph isn't it? I don't usually go by km/h. The launch is not that fast, maybe close though. The coaster is definitely not 1 second long! It's about a minute. 200 km/h in 1 second would break the acceleration record on a roller coaster wouldn't it? I'm not sure if there is an actual record for that yet. If I were to guess it would be Dodonpa which goes 106.9 mph (about 172 km/h) in 1.8 seconds. Anybody know anything faster than that?

I wasn't home today, and didn't get to work on the coaster much yesterday. Tomorrow, I should ave lots of extra time and get most of it finished I hope.

[edit]

Ok, I've been working on it for a little bit tonight and finished another section. I only have a couple small parts and the tophat left to support. Here's another picture on recent progress.

[edit]

Ok, no sleep yet and it is 4:19 AM where I am. I got a lot of supports done. This one piece just bugs me though (where the train is). Do you think it is under supported?

You have to ask? [lol]
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

Fix your support connections. Having two support tubes perpendicular to one another from a single node... not so hot.

Well, I actually did look on there first and didn't see a track with a drop like this one for the supports I want. The whole track pretty much has some regular/Intamin supports. I wanted this big hill to have the S&S supports because the launch is done with their air technology, rather than a hydraulic launch. I don't think there is a drop like this on a S&S coaster. So I couldn't really copy in this case.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to tell me. Could you maybe say it different?

He means don't have 1 free node connecting 2 support beams. Add an extra one above it (or to the side), forming a completed support instead of a corner gap.

Alright, I'll be working on it more today. Probably give you guys some more pictures later.

[edit]

Got some pictures! I worked on the supports a little bit more. I started to notice I was getting really low frames from all the supports. So I made a custom environment. After that I tested the ride and noticed a great improvement in FPS so I added more to the environment, including a custom station. Tell me if you like it or if you don't.

I have one picture of the supports, which are starting to look better due to the info you guys gave me. I only tried it out on the brakes so far, and moving on to the other supports later.

The rest are pictures of the custom station

Oh wow, I wish I saw that picture earlier. I'll edit the existing ones and make them look more like that.

[edit]

Ok, I have some pictures.

They look good, but I don't think would hold. At this point of the ride, their is about 3-4 g's put on them. Should I re-crisscross the bottoms and leave the new top?

One more picture for you. I first started making the two towers such as the ones on XLC. Then I though it would look cool for them to be connected. What do you guys think?

[edit]

Still modifying these supports.

I still think you need a longer tube coming from the truss to the track.

Also, on your truss, the tops of the vertical poles are extending too far.

Its super tedious work but it will in the end polish your ride off very nicely. Its worth the effort and hassle

Alright, I'll try extending the distance of the tube between the truss and the track. I'll also mess around with heights for those vertical ones off of the truss. I'm sure you are right about it.

[edit]

So, more like this?

Wouldn't those tubes be a bit too thin to be safe?
