They are pretty thin tubes. I guess they are realistic though. I do have one problem I just ran into, I need your opinions. I just ran the tunnel test and there is one intrusions. Here are two pics. Tell me if you think I can keep it. In my opinion, it should be ok because it would be very hard/impossible to reach.

Oh cool, I didn't know that. So, I guess XRC passes the tunnel test!

The brakes turned out perfect in my opinion. This set glides the train to 12 mph with 1.45 g's. Good with e-stop to.

These are the other ones, right before the station.

Okay, I am almost finished with supports. Does anyone think something should be changed support wise? If no, I'll add the flanges to finalize them.

I think it looks cool so far. I like the colors and as far as I'm concerned everything else looks okay to me...I am still so confused as to what "world record-breaking" action happens within one second...Let's answer so that the topic title can be changed away from "?"...
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

I am not going to answer that until the track is released. I have to keep one or two surprises! I must admit, some people may say it is unrealistic. I don't think so, compared to the previous holder. I can say one thing, it's intense.

Yet another question of mine. What kind of "ejector" airtime is within realistic limits for this type of coaster?

JY said NEVER over (or under I should say) -1.5 negative gs. I would personally go from -1 to -1.3 constantly.

So, -1.7 g's would be to much? If so, should I modify the track to have a small trim on the way up the tophat?

NO TRIM.

Even as a last resort I would not recommend it.

Modify the track, maybe make a radius bigger, slow the launch down 5mph, but don't trim it.

Well, -1.7 is like 1 in every 3 launches. For some reason the G forces are different every time I ride. -1.5,-1.6,-1.7 are what it usually gets. Different every time, even though the train hits the tower at the same speed. I tried a trim to slow it down a few, and it still manages -1.7 every couple launches. The trim kinda messes up the airtime for the backseats. The back normally has floater air, then ejector, all the way over the tophat. With the trim, the back has floater, then regular, and then ejector. So a trim ruins the airtime for the back. I think I might just leave it how it was with no trim. I can't modify the launch speed for several reasons. I can't modify the radius of it either. Well I could, but it would require me to modify supports to, making it a much bigger hassle.

How can't you modify the launch speed?

Or make the ride 5 feet taller.

Do something to make those -1.7s go away. For most accurate g-forces by the way, go in 25% time.

Maybe change the train length to a car more, or a car less. Whichever makes the ride slower at that point.

Raising the tophat would also ruin the shaping

Changing the train length is a good idea, but the station is already measured to have the correct number of queuing gates. That would leave a train to big for the station, or a train to small for it.

On top of that, the g's are only yellow.

Well try the trains, the shape of the hat does look really nice.

I'll try them

[edit]

Regular = -1.7 front, -1.7 back
Shorter = -1.6 front, -1.8 back
Longer = -1.8 front, -1.6 back

Hmmm That doesent make sense. You could send it to garrett@sanne.us if you want and I'll try something.

How about I make you the official tester. Does that sound good? You better not leak any surprises! I'll send you just the track if you say ok.

Make it 3 cars, problem solved. Kabloom!

It also makes it look more realistic since you wanted an Hypersonic-XLC look.

At first I though you were crazy, because that would mean chopping the trains in half. It turns out, you are right! Beautiful airtime over the tophat. I just have to make some additional tweaks to fit the new trains. Any other problems that you saw in my track?

[edit]

Finished tweaking the ride for the new trains, and I finalized the supports, and I am almost done. I just made a custom cartexture. I don't usually make these, so I kept it simple. I feel as long as I attempted, It is better than nothing. Here is a pic of the new trains with the custom cartexture.

I think I need one more tester. If your interested, say so. I will then look at your recent tracks and check out how good they are technically. That is to see if you are the kind of person that will find flaws in my design. Remember, just one tester.

Im willing to bet this rides acceleration is going to be unrealistic. Hypersonic XLC basically has the maximum acceleration g-force that is within reasonable limits for a roller coaster, and since you keep saying this is record breaking I assume the acceleration will be greater than Hypersonic....if its anything more than the slightest bit faster, youre acceleration g's ae going to be too high.
