I gotta be honest, I have no idea. Though in my pornography kind of goes hand in hand with masturbation (or should I say cock in hand... heh heh). Though you don't really need pornography for masturbation but it does help speed up the process... not to mention various other positives for use while you j/o.

As for what future relationship problems this will cause? I have no idea.. I'm sure it's like anything you can completely avoid those problems if you don't try to hide it and raise expectations so that way your expected to act at a level that you really don't operate at. If its out in the open the people who like you will accept you for who you are and they'll be cool with that.

So really is it entertainment? No, I don't think so, I think its more of a tool to help assist in sexual stimulation. I can't see it being anything more. And if your opinions differ, then that's fine I suppose. I'm not going to judge you either way.. but I also expect that none of you will judge me simply because may use porn from time to time.. it's just whatever. Besides I think there are far better things to do then sitting at home watching porn all day.

I really don't find it that much of a big deal. I know the sterotype is that guys love it and girls hate it and get jealous by it, but to be honest most of my female friends enjoy watching porn and..find it quite pleasureful! (sometimes mre than guys do!)

Linny - youd be suprised. Or not. What you are saying is just verifying the statistic that women now comprise 40% of porn use. Definatly way up.

However, Coaster Individual hit on the important point. It almost always leads to some sort of addiction or abuse over the long term. Not always, but overwhelmingly it will.

Look, if people are worried about kids looking at porn, parents are perfectly capable of blocking certain sites from their children. If the parents don't, then they should fully understand that their kids may and probably will go to certain sites deemed inappropriate. Now is it good or is it bad? It's neither. I don't look highly at the porn industry, but I sure as hell don't frown upon it, either. It's there for stimulation, just like roller coasters are here to stimulate us in different ways...(haha, comparing roller coasters and porn...bad idea).

As for it giving false hope to kids, that's the kids issue. They need to learn that it's 'fantasy.' These people are paid to enjoy the sex they're having with the other person, whether they really enjoy it or not. At the end of the day, it's about the pay day. Oh and to the 13 year old boys here, I'm sorry but most of the woman you see in porn are not lesbians. I know! Sad to know, but, it's true.

So, is porn a good thing? Sure. I'm a male, and I say it's fine.

we are humans. we get something very special from sex, something that NEVER shows up in porn movie. perhaps we were created by a higher powere that gave us this gift, or we evolved to a point where we earned it, it's there.little children in jr. highschool should never see sex cheapened and taken for granted the way the porn industry presents it.

i may hate pornography, but i certainly think people have the right to produce and sell it. i own firearms, but if i said "ban pornography" then i'd lose my right to bear arms if that happened, not to mention the other literature that would fall into the same catergory.always, the bill of rights in the constitution of the U.S.A trumps ALL.

I think porn is fine as long as one does not let porn be more important than real life sexual attraction and practice to the opposite sex. One should be more hands on than eyes only imo.

Its just my opinion. Get over it. I stick by what I said, but I do know what your saying to the idea that there is something special about sex that is pushed to the side in any porn out there. I know porn doesnt show people making love, it shows them f*cking, and it is a gross thing to think about knowing poeple are getting off to other people who are paid to have sex. I have had the same girlfriend for a few years now and havent looked at porn the entire time becuase I repsect her and our relationship. Im not some porn feind or something so dont attack me as if I were.
I stand by it that when kids are going through that time of life when they are looking for answers that cant be answered by any person and hopefully isnt being answered by having sex at such young ages, that its fine for kids to use that as a resource.

Yeah, I've now also seen most of Gouldy and Linny's porno collection too. It's simply fantastic. There is nothing wrong with porn, no one is forcing you to watch it at the end of the day. Sex is sex at the end of the day, however much people want to glorify it

Actually, I wont compare results men to women but rather within gender. Its widely known that men still accept it more, however its on the rise with women. I think for now its more fair to look at how many women within the female gender look and how many men within the male gender look.

I don't watch it. I have no intentions to watch it. I don't want to end up like other guys my age addicted to this stuff. It's not a good thing in any way. But that's just my opinion. I know everyone thinks differently, but this is what I think from the pov of a teenage Christian guy.

Lol...ok, it's not for some people.
And I'm the first to admit; people (and girls especially) get jealous, insecure, think more of it and it can cause issues. But the thing people need to remember is, it's someone's job and it's their job to 'entertain' I guess people out there who want to be entertained, or whatever.
I personally don't find Bill Hicks funny, but loads of people did and do...so each to their own.
