I had been feeling fine since my surgery on July 1st. It's been 3 days now that I have experienced non stop pain in my lower left side of my back. Seems that each day it's getting progressively worse. I'll be away from the computer foir a few days. I am going to try and schedule a doctor visit and see if I can find a ride to it since I am unable to drive. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. This pain is intense. You have no idea what it feels like...

Maybe this time they will give you some vicodin or something useful!

Good luck, I wish I could offer a ride if I were closer!

I too have been having issues. Came home at noon today and slept all day thanks to the flexeril and vicodin. Ugh, probably gonna have to cut on me again.

I know how it felt like...
I've been in OR (operation room) but they had to do a lot of surgery...
I've been sleeping for 3 days now... And I'm going on vacation in 16 hours (2am local time [:O]) so I think i'll be awake all night... can't sleep anyway...
to much energy...
The posts from the last 3 days are from my sister :) She knows exactly what I would say, so she did all the writing here for me :)
And when I woke up, she said:
It's time for your vacation
So I asked:
WTF, how long have I slept???
She told me 3 days, and that it was like a coma, cause they couldn't get me awake... I'm so scared...
I have to go again when I'm back from vacation, cause this time it went wrong...

Sorry for this kind of weird post... I need to get my mind up and running again...

After an emergency visit on Thursday to the hospital, it seem that the muscle that was cut to reach the affected area on my spine is now healing, but wraopping itself the nerve, which is not a good sign. This explains the very intense pain, more pain than before the operation that I am experiencing now. The only way around it right now is to stretch out as much as possible as to tear the newly bonding liogaments from the nerve. That way they never are able to attach fully. If they do, well imobilization can occur and another operation would have to be incurreed to separate the muscle from the nerve. I am in serious pain and I may even miss the next semester of school if I am not healed with 2-3 weeks as I start classes the last week of August. I'll be somewhat away from the pc as to promote the most healing time possible. I leave people in charge so don't get ass wild on me and pray for me as I do't wish the pain I feel on anyone. It is real painful and sickening.

I wish there was something we could do to help you out bro. That sucks that the healing has gone awry and now it looks like it will take longer to get you back on healthy roster again. Geesh ....

I shot him a text to see how he is doing ... his response:

"Bad, cannot stand without being in pain."

Man, that sucks!!

I just talked to Oscar about a few things, and he asked that I report on his condition here. Right now he is intense pain that is NON-STOP. It even hurts to walk and the only thing that helps him is laying flat on his back. He is feeling pretty depressed right now and sure could use a little cheering up. He is also having some digestive issues that are really messing him up ...

That is all for now.

NOTE: If anyone wishes to call him, hit me up with a PM and I will give you his number.

I really hope that Oscar pulls through on this one. When I talked to him before the surgery he seemed like he was doing ok, but there is no way anyone can ignore that kind of pain. All we can hope is that he gets better and this problem can be solved.

Good luck Slapsta
