Mirror Image

I just wanted to share something I've been doing lately, maybe it will be interesting to someone... maybe not? lol. My main problem with building is that I get bored of a ride halfway through and move onto making my next ride, thats why my NL folder has about 20 tracks that are all outstanding, but only the first half of a ride. So lately I've when I get bored with a ride, I'll just save the whole thing as an element and insert it mirrored. It creates a whole new ride, and a lot of the time, sparks a ton of inspiration and new ideas for me. Keeps things interesting.

i kinda do the same thing, for example, the dive loop i used in SLC was actually from an earlier coaster that i never uploaded or finished

Mirroring a track does do a lot for inspiration. Just like with other things, taking a new view can give you new ideas. I should do that with some of my tracks too now that I think about it.

great idea i must try it, i may even coble my 20 or fo unfinished designs together one after another and see what it comes out like

I think this is a problem we all have...you had an original idea...
I tried with some tracks and it's true!
New ideas and inspiration for layout!
