See, that is just dumb -- sell the stupid house and move. Honestly. Think of the noise level all day. I cannot believe that the folks at GG did not make such a tasty cash offer that those folks would take it and go build a house somewhere else on the water. Really, if there is someone still living there (even if it is their summer home) they are fools. You are going to have maintenance folks and whoever else all in your yard area all day and well ... in this day and age I worry about the safety of the residents. And oh, where is the driveway to access this house? Under the structure? There are so many problems with having a house there that I could write a novel. Move people, so that someone like us can buy it and live there in coaster heaven. [lol]

Anti Rollbacks have been installed on that turn that caused it to valley. Also, they ran it and it didnt make it again...and the anti rollbacks caught it.

They should've been more careful with construction like they were with El Toro, it's a wooden coaster and it made it through the whole layout the first time ;)

LOL, I wouldn've backlashed a little stronger if it hadn't been for your warning. But El Toro is not a real wooden coaster, it has prefab track.

Lol, El toro is a totaly computer calculated ride. Or do you think they realy needed those $12.000.000 for the construction?

I don't know about this ride, its lloks insanly twisted, but if its going to go over this spot at low speeds it could kill a bit of the ride.

ET track minus running rails is made of wood and it is real therefore it is a real wooden coaster. It is totally computer calculated as RCT said though, but I assume everything outside of actual construction is just as computer calculated on Boardwalk Bullet too.

But that's a whole 'nother discussion...that we had before. Sleep time!

The turn in question has height to spare. There don't appear to be any tracks below it that would prevent them from knocking 5 or 10 feet off the height if they need to. This would certainly get the train to make the hill and probably wouldn't affect the rest of the ride too much.

It WOULD, however, cause it to delay the opening well past my vacation next week.

^Yeah, lowering that section (which is possible) would be a pretty lengthy delay and the last thing Kemah wants is another delay.

Hopefully they are able to find out the problem and the ride will start making it's course soon. Those who saw the second test said the train made it considerably (sp?) further up the hill than the first test, so I hope that it will make it soon and there after will continue to clear with more and more speed.

Its interesting though because I know from a worker at SFSTL that Boss sometimes vallies if its cold enough and other factors. And its been open for years.

They are obviously flirting with the speed there but I dont see it as major. It could be, as I heard said, that during construction that the crews made a few spots too tight be the smallest of margains and ya gotta go back and widen though spots to loosen the train up.

Yeah Real, that's what I'd expect. I don't think they'll lower than hill/turn though, I think it'll keep getting faster like Jakizle said and eventually that won't be a problem...maybe a little slowdown there onride but that's been done on many rides purposely to let riders catch their breaths after a particularly intense section, and also so create some additional anticipation.

Hades also has a spot like that in their first tall hill...I wonder if/how many times it vallied into the tunnel. I expect that's more of a problem than when a ride valleys outdoors.

Looking at that house... Would that count as a backyard coaster? [lol]

Well, now that there are anti-rollbacks on that hill, they could winch it. If it valleys at the bottom of the first drop, though, you'd need a winch that would pull it up an S-turn, a banked 180, a slight drop, then a banked 180 in the opposite direction. Ain't happnin'.

Talked with the crew today. They want 51mph at the bottom of the first drop.

First three runs: 39, 43, 44mph. Eighth run: 49mph. That's 10mph gain in just 8 runs. This thing is gonna haul.

do you mean "at least" 51? with that sort of gain it might go faster..
