Do NOT use Parkpack objects...Unless you can show us you have permission from Jackfrahn or another CSims staff member to use those objects I don't think your track will stay eligible for too long should we find it contains a Parkpack object and you were not given permission...

And if the CS staff didnt want people to use them why would they make them available?

Dude.. the only rule about Park Pack objects is you just can't include them in a NL Pack or ride download. Just say "ParkPark needed to experience ride fully." in the download... and provide a link and it's all good.

Only a couple of problems here...

No inverts. That sucks. I saw this template and immediately thought to build a Katun-type invert. Would have been sweet.

The tree removal is a little picky. Honestly. Best thing is to either be able to remove trees or not be able to. It's too tricky making sure that no more than said number has been deleted. Too much human error.

And I think enough has been said about the tunnels. Though I'd like to point out that they are just long enough to make a very exciting straight piece of track. *cough*sarcasm*cough*

All in all, I just don't think there's enough room for creativity for this thing. Good effort for sure though.

I think everything about it is awesome really, except the tunnels and 3D rules. I can't think of any way to use those tunnels in the right places and not make them both launches. Sure, I could do that, but then every track in this contest would have minimun two launches in the tunnels. Blerg.

I also don't think it's fair to be awarded actual points for making good 3D objects. Maybe a tiny bonus, but "great originality points" is too much IMO. I mean, I'm learning how to make them right now, and if I could I would make awesome theming, but since I can't yet I'm gonna lose points. I dunno, doesn't really seem fair to half the contestants in this.

anyone using FVDs?

If there is a 3D intrusion in the tunnel, is it ok if it is on the bottom, under the track? I check each one and the trains wheels do not touch the 3D object.

Let me remind you that no one is forced to enter this contest, CGuy. If you saw in the rules that the presentation of 3Ds would up your ride score and knew in the back of your mind that this is something you cannot do, you should either just make damn sure you have hella fun ride with excellent tech, or not join and save some people the complaining.

Not every contest has to be made for everyone...
