Do you like to read? What books do you like? What was the last book you finished? etc...

I have to say, I love to read! I usually finish 2-4 books a week if I'm on vacation. I really like books like Harry Potter Artemis Fowl, Eragon, etc. The last book I finished is A Game Of Thrones by George R. R. Martin.

I'm not going to give the "books suck blah blah blah" speech, but I have honestly never had any interest in it whatsoever. I think a real critical killer of any interest I had in reading was definitely the English (We call literature/grammar/spelling/writing class "English Class" in America, not be confused with a foreign language class) programs at school.

When I was little I never wanted to read Tom Sawyer books or anything, I'd also go read a book on boats, bridges, volcanoes, cars, whatever my current interest was.

The only fiction authors I could really stand were good old Roald Dahl and Louis Sacher (those sideways school stories kicked ass)

To this day I cannot stand movies/books like Harry Potter or Lord Of The Rings, I can't buy into at all.

Yeah, I almost lost interest in reading, becouse of our Slovene clas. We had to read the most stupid books, that where ever written. The only good book was Matilda by Roald Dahl in 4th grade. But I found a way around: I looked for a summary on the internet. And if we wrote a test, I could always count on my schoolmate sitting right next to me, that he would have all the correct answers, if I didn't know them... [:D]

I like to read if a book interests me. Yesterday I finished reading my first Ouran High School Host Club manga. I have the next book so I will be reading that in a few days.

I really enjoy to read IF I'm reading a book that interests me.

If I'm not into it I'll just stop reading

Reading can be both boring and fun, it all depends on the book imo. not the author. Stephen king for example only has 3 good books (also imo) insomnia, green mile, and the stand... Other then that, he's a waste of my time. Same with all the other major authors.

I'm apathetic about reading. I have to do it all the time, like reading this topic...it's not something that's really given me pleasure

I'm not really a fan of reading. The only books that I really liked were Eragon and Eldest.

I like reading occasionally. My favorite books are Harry Potter. I loved the Deathly Hallows. But during the school year, I don't like to read. I got bored during the required books.
