^ Well, if they can afford to buy the registered version they most likely would be able to buy the upgrade for half the price (of the regs version).

If someone doesn't have 1.6, then they aren't viewing the tracks properly, and as a result do not know what it is they are actually rating.

If you played a decaying log in jeopardy, The log would win.

It has been a year since 1.6 has come out. If people can afford the 10 dollar internet (the CHEAPEST you can get it), than you should be able to afford the 15 or whatever dollar upgrade fee.

People should be allowed to rate 1.6 tracks with IF if they have 1.5 or 1.55 or even 1.31. They just shouldn't be allowed to complain about the out of control G-Forces they are experiencing. Only if they are claiming, and therefore downrating, that there are G-Forces they are experiencing because of their lack of 1.6, than should a rate be edited to more accurately depict the ride, or it should be deleted.

No Ragan including everyone is wrong. Besides if you don't own the game doesn't the simulator not run custom created tracks anyways?

I wasn't talking about no owning the game, more along the lines of not upgrading due to whatever reason.

If you have improved friction on, and they don't have 1.6, then you should be allowed to rate, however just don't complain about how its not working right.

How can you rate adrenaline correctly ragan? That's 1/3 of the rating.

To put this straight for NL 1.6:

with any mismatch in NL versions you can *neither* rate building technique *nor* adrenaline. With recreations you also will fail at observing accurracy of dynamics. Not only will the G's be off, but any intended pacing and rythm will be totally different as well, in particular the longer you go. Full Bummer!

Conclusions to be made for *any* 1.6 tracks:

- Do strictly forbid rating, in case rider has not got 1.6 himself!
- Yes, and still do note the requirement of 1.6 in description!
- Do not and never rely on intelligence of humanoids! It just aint...
