SEOUL, South Korea ????????? South Korea says North Korea has fired a fourth missile off its eastern coast.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff says three missiles were fired early Saturday and the fourth at about noon.

The launches come two days after North Korea fired four short-range missiles.

The test firing could further escalate tensions in the region as the U.S. tries to muster support for tough enforcement of a U.N. resolution imposed on the communist regime for its May nuclear test.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency quotes military officials as saying the missiles fired Saturday appear to be a type of Scud missile. South Korea's military said North Korea's Scuds are considered short-range.

They are also likely capable of reaching Alaska and Hawaii. Not the continental U.S, per se, but Alaska and Hawaii may be in trouble. North Korea is confirmed to have WMD, these missile tests are extremely important for people to know about, and it must be understood that the threat offered by them is escalating.

Please, do not let this threat fall on deaf ears, the consequences could be catastrophic (thanks, Oscar [:)]).

I have checked and noticed top news portions on this from BBC, Fox News, and ABC, while NBC failed. Now you know who you can still watch. [;)]

Nah, they're not in trouble, from what I've heard, they're only capable of covering 300 miles. [:)]

As a soldier, I am really beginning to think that N. Korea needs a reminder sent to them: http://tinyurl.com/44znfs (Hiroshima, 1945)

It's a shame this guy can't spend the country's money to feed his starving citizens instead of building up his military.

Actually, if you serve in the military in N. Korea you will eat well and be treated well -- hence, if you think about it he is actually serving both purposes of taking care of people and satisfying his own endless need for a larger military force.

One of my favorite examples of showing the world just how screwed up you really are. This hotel comes in second place behind the USSR's attempt at covering up Chernobyl.
