IMO the main use for 3ds is to build stations. It would be cool to have choices of different stations without having to build them. Just simple little stations that arent as ugly as the ones in NL right now (the woodie one isnt too bad).
Just a thought, please noone give me the "or you could not be lazy and build your own station" statement. If you do ill put a rabbit in your underwear drawer and he will poop everywhere, little rabbit poops, which we all know dont taste as good as they look.

I'm in for the stations [:)]
edit- but then again, what with the number of gates? Making seperate gate-3ds files so that the user can place them hisself?

IMO we could make little 'segments' of station, so that people can make stations as longs as they want. Also make every double, one slanted and one straight for every station. Perhaps also a good idea to make them fit to the NL-station, so that the gates and ride-op panel stay the same, but the walls and floors and i don't know what will be themed

I'm in for the station... Segmented will be good, cause then you'll have a station as short or as long as you want...
I might be able to help with the stations, but first I need to get my Gravimetric Studios OC up and running again... It just won't work in Vista... Always that runtime error 11...

Don't forget about blender... It's free, but it takes a while to learn.

And could somebody who has the Construction Kit full version make a 3ds of a straight piece of track... Just so we can get scale for our objects?

Type? Something special [:D]
Not that normal roof, but things like a totally closed building (black from the inside for example) with a tube on one side where you could put a launch in without people noticing it...

I think we can better use the NL-sim for scaling...so that the ramps are in the best height and distance from the trains
