Has anybody been to SFMM lately and checked this one out? I've heard some good reviews, but only from non-coaster enthusiasts.

My second favorite woody next to Ghost Rider.
My first GCI as well.

Pros:
1. Smooth.
2. Great lateral forces.
3. Lots of floater airtime.
4. Several head-choppers.
5. Dark tunnels.
6. Relentless pace.
7. Cool theme, que (is that how you spell it?) was interesting to say the least.

Cons:
1. No ejector airtime.
2. No preferred seating, you get assigned a seat. I got stuck in the dead-middle of the train the three times I rode.

I only go on woodies for airtime so I don't think I'll enjoy this one.

^GCI has airtime, but it's very very controlled airtime. Not controlled to the point where it's not fun, but its much less relentless than say, Cornball Express.

Ugh I hate that! Especially when you have to wait long lines for rides! Geesh.

^^Which ride? You can't really see the airtime on a POV from the front on most coasters.

You know, just ask if you can wait for the front car [;)]

My buddy went and asked if he could wait for an open spot in the front car, and only waited for aout 10 more minutes to get it. Sooooo worth it imo.

The ride is fantastic in the back, you get quite a bit of air into the drop, the track has a solid layout with great pacing, and is my favorite wooden coaster. I'm sure you'll like it too.

I can't believe they decided to do assigned seating for this ride. That's like the lame-est thing ever. i hope they get rid of that. All the other rides have preferred seating and they work out great. I mean it may be a little bit crowded, but nothing a little construction can't help.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

I asked all three times If I could wait for the back (different employees each time) and they told me no. Then I beg of course, and they returned with a "You can ride in the seat specified or I can have you escorted out, your choice."
