And now I'm not in since you weren't smart enough to get it approved.

Or, you can host an UN-official contest by posting it in the appropriate coaster simulation's forum. However, an unofficial contest still needs to be interesting and fun to get people to want to join. Unless you have a good idea along with a template and rules, you will most likely be flamed. Flaming is bad. Just remember... think before you post.

Read everything after the first line in that quote...your "contest" fails.

It is fun, and a cool idea. Plus, that is YOUR opinion. Not everyone else who joined is going to think exactly the same thing as you.

^ Well, then again, we have to make room for large B&M hypers, so I just wanted to make sure everything fits.

I did not want to allow them because the contest will be even lighter on the rules.

Max Vertical G-force: 5 positive, -1.3 negative, Max Lateral G-force: +/- 1.5. No DQ's for this, but major point deductions in tech (at least .5 points). No exceptions.

^^ only .5 outta 200 total??

Just read the text again that i made bold, if you just look at the size of this template and the huge choice of tracktypes. Far from interesting...
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

Sorry about that. I meant to put 20 points.

Edit: Due to the number of complaints, I have changed the size of the template, and the number of tracks used. See rules on the first post.

[lol] I see this particular contest failing in the sense that you're allowing so many different types of coasters. It's going to be biased that you're putting all different types of designs together and considering them equally judged when you give them scores...What happens when you've narrowed down two designs and ones a B&M and ones a Bobsled? What's the rubiric and what're the scoring lines between multiple types?
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

I did not know you're contest is coming, and I did not ask for you to make one for me.

I kinda said that earlier...Canadmos approved it, I think.

If you are going to do a contest it's dumb to make one that isn't official because people have no reason to make a track for it. And where's the challenge with your "contest" anyways?

In fact, how about I just cancel the contest? Jake, you're contest is after the SCCC? That is a while though.

It is getting to be a real pain in the neck to make new rules over and over again. I am cancelling it.

Now there is some real proof of the ill planning that went into this EElover...

Why have a contest when me and Austin's is going on and surely one is going to happen after that? Go to the staff, get one approved for winter and get it booked so that people will want to join and you won't end up backing down from manipulation...

And also give it something creative other than just the NL1.6 Any Type contest...

Exactly, book a contest date with the staff. It's no good if not's official IMO.
