Freewebs sucks, period. Using Freewebs is crap and normally screams of lazy programming because it is all done for you -- and usually brings out the riducle stick. I will only speak for my site here but other Admins who read this please join in. Coasters2K was written and coded by three people, and other than the Forum structure (which came from
www.snitz.com) it is all written in a programming language called ASP (Google it). Running a site is MUCH more than just tossing up some forums and calling it done -- you need to find something unique that others do not have, and that you can attract members with. It takes YEARS to grow membership and get things actively rolling. Coasters2K has only been officially back online for a year, and we are only sitting at 325 members.
Trust me on this one. If you do not have the skills in you to create a website, getting members to join will be very difficult.
But if you add screens of your own design and make it looks good, would that be better (on freewebs)?
