I made a coaster, and it's all finished. Lately I've been testing for things like station time, tunneltest and e-stop.
That last one went wrong (I think).
Here's what happened:

Train left station.
Train ran track till brake section.
After brake section, it went on the launch section.
I pressed E-stop halfway launch, so it didn't make the next hill.
It rolled back, past the launch, brake, track and right into the station, where another train was waiting for departure. (it was IN the station, so not leaving it).

Now I want to know, is that an E-stop-faillure or not?

no mate, if it was real the launch would have some mag breaks on it so i wouldent class it as e-stop.

however if you wish to correct this you can make the launch out of a break segment by dissableing the breaks and using only the LIM track, that way when you e-spo it will slow down. im struggling with being able to describe how to do it better so hopefully somone else can explane it better

Thanks, I think I understand.
Just "Transform" my launch to brakes with launch function, and it'll work. Now I CAN get my coaster done for the contest...

yeah

if you look in the transport bit of the menu on the break setting screen you can make it so you carnt see the break pads so all you can see is the transport parts.
if you get me thats what i mean

Now I have another problem...
I can't launch it with a speed over 100km/h if I use brakes...
Can I change that (without using a powerbooster or something?)

then you make a transport launch, and some brakes at the end of it with the hightest limit. Then, if you press E-stop during the launch, the brakes will stop the train and the ppl can be evacuated

Don't get it...
If I make a brake after the launch, I'll have to put it on 100km/h, but that's 30km/h slower than the launch, so it won't make it... Except for if I make them short, but then they won't brake enough for safety...

ohh then you carnt really do anything and youll just have to assume that it would stop on the launch like every other launch coaster.

still wouldent class it as a E-stop failure
