Nahh but you guys who havent being to Alton Towers cant comprehend how intimidating Nemesis actually looks even though it isnt that tall. Just because its not tall doesnt mean it isnt intimidating for a first time rider. Its way more intimidating than Corkscrew or Rita, to me it was even more intimidating than Oblivion.
The fact you can hear it before you even catch a glimpse really adds to the tension. You can hear the continuous roar reverberating off the rock walls, and this sound almosts drowns out some of the screaming. Then you finally turn a corner and there you can just see the helix, where riders feet are inches from the rusted fence. Then once you get close up, the ground just opens below you and all of a sudden the ride seems to grow. It is incredibly intimidating for anyone who hasnt ridden a major coaster before (you cant call corkscrew a major coaster) so i understand maybe why he didnt ride.
Still, ride it next time man, and you definately wont regret it. And yes to whoever asked about heartline, nemesis isn't heartlined properly, look at pictures where the ride comes out the first inversion into the helix, the heartline is just plain wrong.
