I'm not that impressed with the update. I do like how they added video to the nano, but you can't do much with 4GB. Personally they just look extremely ugly now. And the touch Ipod, is an Iphone without the phone. Apple just lowered the iphone from 599 to 399, and the new touch ipods go for 299. Might as well spend an extra 100 and get a phone.

They dropped the price of the iPhone because it isn't selling as expected. And if they can randomly cut the price 200 dollars that tell you how horribly overpriced it is.

And to Calaway Park: PWNED!!!

Wow 22 hours of battery life and 5 hours if you play video. How goddamn frigging awfully pathetic that is.

Apple is the only company I've ever seen make "high technology" into a feature.

Apple overprices their products in general horribly. People just like Apple because the scene kids gush about their iPod and how it's the coolest thing you can get, so it's really just a huge trend.

My phone was $100, and it basically is an iPhone (feature-wise) with slightly less impressive features. The camera is one of the best phone cameras out there (for it's size), and the music quality is just as good as an iPod or iPhone. Not to mention, it's fully customizable, has a beautiful screen, AND the included Micro SD card has enough space to put enough songs on the phone. With the Nokia 5300 out there for I think $150 if purchased alone, the iPod is STILL horribly overpriced even with the $200 price drop.

Your phone sucks intaminfan397 because it doesn't have the "high technology" feature. Kill yourself now in shame.

Exactly what I've been thinking for the last few months. The only thing I don't like about the ipod touch is how little space there is, I guess I could switch all my CDs back from lossless to mp3 to fit it all on, and just stop listening to music in itunes on my computer.

I think the idea of an iPod is cool; it's a multimedia player that works pretty well and is easy to use for just about everyone, but there are just too many things I don't like about it.

For one thing, I don't want to be limited to iTunes to add/remove music, and the file system is just confusing. I don't like looking at the device through Explorer and finding a whole gagglef*** of files. Really, what's the point of doing that?

Another thing about the iPods I don't like is that you HAVE to use their accessory standards. It's one of the dirtiest tricks you can pull on your customers. I see no reason the ipod can't have a USB port right on the device itself. You can charge it on your computer through USB OR just as well get a USB AC Adapter, not a very hard thing to come by. It defeats the purpose of calling it a Universal Serial Bus when you force the end user to use your own medium.

On top of all that, up until now, I haven't seen a single iPod that matches the battery life of some other multimedia players out there. Even with better battery life, it's still very pricey for what you're getting.

No iPod for me.

i have one, sadly. I was sucked into buying one like 2 years ago. It's alright, i use itunes for all my media stuff, and have no problem with that, but i adjusted to it and stuff. The new ones look horrible.

I kinda like the touch, it just looks sleek and comfortable. But I highly doubt I will get one, at least for a while, my Toshiba Gigabeat is an excellent machine.

I'm not an apple person by any means, but the iPod is IMO better than any other mp3 player I have seen. I also haven't found a way to organize all my music better than iTunes, even though I can't stand the store, and never buy anything from it. Again, I would never call myself a mac person, and I don't really like most of the stuff they've done, but the iPod is one thing I feel like they've gotten right (hell, my iPod is 3 years old and still works fine).
