I'm waiting for those vending machines in a real hotel like a Motel 8, Econo Lodge, Holiday Inn, etc.

Asaaa, aren't you glad you paid 200 dollars more than you could have tomorrow for you iPhone?

So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

LMAO Dang, another CLASSIC comment.

But I agree. I dont know where there are any of these gold or platinum encrusted buildings that have vending machines full of hundred dollar items.

You people do realize that the new base model hard drive iPod holds 80gb and the upper level one holds 160gb right? When they're like that you might as well use them as back up disks. When it comes down to it the hard drive models are the best value for iPods.

Another thing about the iPods I don't like is that you HAVE to use their accessory standards. It's one of the dirtiest tricks you can pull on your customers. I see no reason the ipod can't have a USB port right on the device itself. You can charge it on your computer through USB OR just as well get a USB AC Adapter, not a very hard thing to come by. It defeats the purpose of calling it a Universal Serial Bus when you force the end user to use your own medium.

It's not like the iPod doesn't come with a USB cord. Pretty much any 5 volt USB supply should do. I've charged mine off a hub before.

the whole storing stuff on ipod thing isn't as smooth as using a storage device, it's much more complicated since the only way to do it is through itunes. it'd be so much nicer if you would just "drag and drop" anything onto your ipod...

^You technically can. All you do is drag a song title into the iPod list when it is plugged in.

You can't take music OFF of an iPod which is bullshiz because of the iTunes "we own your soul and tell you what to do" interface that's hip and "just works". I like how my cube works as it functions like an external harddrive. I drag and drop everything I want onto the device in my own little folders and organize it how I WANT IT to be organized, not how Apple says it should be organized, and when I don't want the files anymore (which happen to be plain old MP3 files didn't buy off iTunes that don't have write protection shiz on them) I just move them back onto the computer the same drag and drop style since I have every right to put my stuff back on my own frigging computer ***shakes fist angrily***

And yes the new nanos do look like a chode. I think they're making them wider to accommodate for the entire planet getting so frigging fat. They'll have to make the iPhones larger soon since half of their userbase is so fat their sausage fingers are going to start hitting two buttons at once. Maybe they'll cut the price to slighty above half it's original value AGAIN and still be able to make money off of it.

Nano looks ugly, or at least like something you throw with. iPod Touch looks like the iPhone which looks uninspired. This seriously is the worst update Apple has ever released. Period. (imo)

hook up your ipod, and then open up the hidden music folder. you can get anything off your ipod. or there's a million programs that do it.

Lol^. You just said 'hidden' and 'programs' (=additional software). That's not the way it should be done. It should be possible on an intuitive way if you get what I mean.
I have an 5G iPod myself and there are several reasons why I won't buy an iPod again. The above is one of them, the ones on the site given by CKmwm are more.

Why would you need to get your music off of your iPod? If you want to give your friends music or something like that, you could put the songs onto it as files, or just burn a CD. It's not that hard...

if your harddrive melts, your music "dissapears", computer crashes, making moving music from you old computer to a new one, or mass producing and illegally transfering music to your friends. "Dude i got 6000 songs from my buddy the other day"

I wasn't saying that you cannot use an iPod with USB, I was saying that I don't like how you have to get the adapter to use it with USB.

That really should be the way it is now, especially with how Steve Jobs feels about using DRM and the whole "iTunes Plus" store.

Steve is giving first time iPhone buyers credit!

But I am still pissed you must pay an extra $.99 to get another license to make a song you already bought into a ring tone.

See how it SHOULD work and how my mp3 players work is if I plug my mp3 player into the computer I can move around my music how I please. What I do with my GOOD mp3 player that doesn't suck is I highlight all of the songs and then I hit "ctrl+c", click on a random folder in my computers harddrive, and then I hit "ctrl+v" and it moves MY goddamned music back ontop MY goddamned computer which I am legally allowed to do and SHOULD be able to do without downloading a bunch of third party shiz and finding the "hidden" folders like I'm installing an illegal roller coaster tycoon patch or something.

I mean if you seriously think going through hidden files and downloading 3rd party software to get something done is the right way to do it than you're a goddamned elitist Apple moron that thinks you're smart, sophisticated, and better than everyone else for blindly following an advertising campaign which makes you quite the opposite of that. When Apple stole a bunch of iPod technology from Creative Labs they should have taken the "do things with your music that is legal" feature as well. Cause I mean all Mac products "just work" right?

When I talk to the Apple tards I feel like they're telling to go shoot myself and die in a communal toilet on the side of a dirt road in Botswana because I disobey the 11th Commandment in the 10 Commandments because I did some comparison shopping instead of buying the "cool" thing to buy that's usually ejaculate colored (the awkward shininess really brings out the illusion of the liquid), and has a metal back and screen that're designed to scratch easily. Coincidentally Apple lost a lawsuit over that.

Screw you all you goddamned elitist Mactards.

Calaway you need to back the f*ck off of being little miss Apple. It is so annoying. You do NOT know everything about the company and their manufactured goods! They're not as heavenly as you think they are and they don't compile everyone's needs.

((((<<< Those news nanos are not cute. I'm embarrased to be gay... >>>))))

And obviously you should stop frontin' on CKid because he has the comebacks wired and he is ALWAYS right about the allegation's he states towards Apple, negative or not.

I apologize for this rant, but you need not act like a smartarse towards every slur put at Apple and Mac...

So.. what is the best MP3 player out there? My iPod is pretty much dead after two years.

Slash a kid at my school decided to buy an iPhone instead of a car. There's just some people out there that I just wanna smack.
