News Flash: Politicians being invited to go on missions with American soldiers to understand what it takes! This is the best idea I have seen to date! This reported from CNN today.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/09/ ... index.html

Seriously ... let's look at the top three democratic hopefulls for just a second. Neither of them has ever run a city, state, or business -- and they claim to be READY to lead a nation? Please ... someone get the curtain call ready, these idiots are about to be owned by a 19 year old in the field who IS that baddest dude in the room. Oh please, please for the love of God, let this one REALLY happen!

Neither of them has ever run a city, state, or business -- and they claim to be READY to lead a nation?

to be a flat out lie.
I volunteer Bush to go on a mission!

id like tio see THAT happen, but from a politicians point of view, maybe not a good idea.. people might show up at your rally slapping a pair of flip flops and donning little band aids with poorly drwan purple hearts on them.. oh, wait that was someone who actually saw combat as a service member

Um, please tell me when Hillary, Obama, or Edwards have ever led a city (been a mayor), state (been a governor), or business (owned a business and been responsible for the leadership of it). Please Oscar, I've been doing my research ... have you?

I think Tconwell just got pwned by his own moderator, coasterfan4444 [lol]
Even though he is wrong, Hillary was junior Senator of NY, but she was lead partner of Rose Law Firm so that debunks your initial statement or never keading a business or whatever exactly you said [:)]

the fact that George W is in charge at the moment says enough about the brains required to lead the US

^ Most useful post in 10 in this thread.

Hillary is a junior senator, and was a partner, which means she might have been in charge of a few other people, but certianly not in charge of the business. Her knowledge in leading others is "piff", and I stand by that totally. No worries about being pwned Oscar, we encourage free thinking and speech at C2K -- unlike other sites where Dictatorship is the method of the day. Besides, his facts were wrong so was it a legitimate pwning? Naw.

Piff, I run a dictatorship here and that is the way it should be ran. [:)]
Ofcourse she having slept with the former President, a good one I might add, knows a thing or two from previous looking experience and being involved in the hoopla. I am sure she is far better prepared for such position than any of the republican homosexuals runing around in the bathrooms trying to get laid by undercover cops. Yet it's funny that you see the republicans hopefuls are all saying "Hilary is the one to beat because they know that she is the one that is ready for it.

Either way slap ... mark my words. As info, whoever it is will sign my retirement certificate and honestly, I cringe at getting someone's signature of whom I have ZERO respect for.

See, what you are doing is defending your line of work and I am defending my line of work. Bush whacks bring war and it's hooray for you. Bill or dems come in and there's lots more work for my end of the spectrum. You're just pist off that there will be peace and less work for you while I am happy that there will be peace and more work for me. But the way you do so just seems rediculous to me. If you cringe at someone siging the paper that you do not respect, quit now while the one that you do respect is still in office and he can sign your resignation papers. You sir, respect an idiot.

Never said I wanted his signature either. Geesh man, get over yourself -- and do it slowly before you pull a muscle or something. I merely implied that I do not care who wins, or who gets in there, it will suck for someone, period -- and my prediction is that whoever it is lasts 4 years, and we see the REAL push for the office after that term. Besides, you know how dark skinned I am -- there is always an opportunity to mow lawns or drive a cab so don't worry my friend, I will find a job.

All Politicians are crooked, imo. Its all about themselves instead of "The People" as a whole.

None of them are good enough for my vote, and I don't care if Politicians go in with the troops to "see what it takes." They'll still be in it for themselves.

Show me some one who deserves my vote.

I'm running for president under the "Kickass Party". Vote for me!

Also it's pretty bad the president has an approval rating in the 30's, is in a dead end war, and his vice president accidentally shot someone in the face. I want the Clintons back.

Mission Accomplished

No one was shot in the face ... and be careful what you wish for.

Instead of a cigar in the oval office, it might be a vibrator in the green room.
