I have been informed that several members here seem to think I need clinical help, kill baby sheep as a hobby, or that I'm going to turn into Buffalo Bill. So I decided to make a thread about things that probably screwed you up as a kid. I was an avid childhood fan of Ren and Stimpy. I cannot believe they allowed this segment to air.

You do know that they fired the creator of the show.

I enjoy Ren and Stimpy too, but I don't think in any way did it mess me up.

Classic.

If anything corrupted my childhood, it was school.

I think the blame goes to the parents of the kids that weren't able to descern that television is fantasy and not something to shape your life by. Not the creators or writers or networks that show the innapropriate yet hysterical and entertaing shows in the first place.

edit: although I do remember watching an episode a lil while back that was supposed to be ren(or whatever the fat retarded things called) always trippin on acid censored to playing with his belly button it was really really funny and trippy as chuff.
Go chuff yourself and have a nice day! :D

check the related videoes they have a commercial that talks about the adult series. Plus they would never allow a. swearing b. smokeing into a kids show. Finnally stimpy(I think thats the skinny cat thing) never smoked in the original show.

Hahaha! No! If Peter Jackson was on crack making movies like Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, and Brain Dead he should do MORE!

I think I was one of the very few people that cried when they heard he was making the LOTR films.

my friend has never been to disneyland, and shes 15. That could be one possibilty.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Haha, yeah that has to be from the "adult" series, and now thanks to you I'm downloading Ren & Stimpy Season 1.

Umm, I'm 17 and have never been to disney-anything, I don't think that has corrupted me much.

That Ren and Stimpy clip was probably never aired. Maybe released on the DVD though. No way in hell would Nickalodeon allow a character to say "sh!t" on their airwaves.

- edit - I actually believe that was on the adult party cartoon made for Spike TV.
