85ft.

The reason why more pics have not been posted yet is because the end of the ride is still being finalised, it will probably end with an immelmann then a cork.

Immelman then cork is dangerous as a design choice at the end of the layout, I know you know but I'll still say it: make sure you have plenty of speed for that immelman.

There will be no immelmann.

Progress:
The original ending was scrapped, it was going to end with an immelmann and cork with fancy helixes, however the layout didn't quite work out for us, so with the loop in place we were able to make something else work that we wanted to do. I have now finished (i think) with my portion of the track design and i've handed it over to Mikado to make the new ending. As soon as the trackwork is done we will be able to bring you a lot more details on ride stats, until then:

New Pictures:

Preliminary support, phlange and track connector to be improved (this was my feeble attempt at 3ds!

Focus only on the lift, the rest of the track could be misleading due to an old .3ds model:

Spine thickening and catwalks and handrails:

I wish i could make 3ds :/
Good work Mikado, if i do say so myself. haha

Me and Ruben have agreed on the final name for our coaster. Rehab originally was a preliminary name that stuck for a time. The current theming will fit the new name better: 2012.

Hopefully we will also have some station pictures for you guys soon.

^sort of [:)]

Hi,

I've been busy modelling and texturing the main lines of the stationbuilding the past few days. 3ds Max isn't such a friendly piece of software to work with, but I think i pulled off something pretty good.

It's not a big update, just a wall of the station and a part of the queueline

Woah, I like it! As for that "2012 it is your destiny." picture I have a small suggestion. You probably already know about this but I'll say it anyways. Sometimes when I do screenshots in the editor from a side/aerial view I will turn off the grid. I do this just because it gives a better look and allows for easier photo editing to focus on what you want people to see. Its simple to do also, just click display and then un-check "show grid". Turn it back on after the screenshot and your done! Well, anyways it looks great so far.

Oh alright, just the different colors of the dots on the grid in the picture looked odd in my opinion.

Hi, I finally have picked up the work again after some weeks of academical craziness. A few things have been done since then: the inside of the station is filling up with gates, operator's booth and whatnot. Lot's of attention is being paid to lighting and shadows, just to increase the feeling of realism. Some screens of the WIP:
Ahh excuse me for the bad texture quality but I was in a hurry [:)]

Those objects have a beautiful video game atmosphere feel. Bravo to the artist that spawned that creation.

The NL trains look so out of place in that picture haha, but really it looks really sweet, and the ride is pretty good too.

It's totally Silent Hill the ride.

And as for the title, I bet it has something to do with Nostradamus and what not and how the world is going to go to chaos in 2012.
