after 3 decades of going to thrift stores and the swapmeet.. i guess anything is possible. i have NEVER bought anything from ebay , ever. all my stuff came from perseverance, not from having more money than the other guy. my policy has paid off for me, and i have a nice collection of gear.
i'm actually more stoked that i got it at the thrift store than the price, which was pretty cheap. i felt the triumph of holding out ( i've wanted one of these and have seen them for sale at about 450-600 or so) until it wound up in my face!

I do not think you could do a better job then I jay... I just finalized a deal with a guy in Arizona for 2 Numark turntables with after-market head shells and Stanton styli, a Numark DXM01 Mixer, and all the cables for them for $275. That to me is a deal of a lifetime!

yes..its a juno 60 even the jx8p is an analog synth . the oscillators are digitally controlled (there are two, making 6 voices) , but the signal path is analog. yamaha would not come up with pcm synths till the next year, with the dx 7 the first digital synth
so in reference , yes it is an analog synthesizer, but lately people have been splitting hairs and pointing out that the sound sources are digitally controlled (meaning the frequency is changed by digital input rather than increasing the input voltage).. doesn't matter.. it does not have vcos like my sh 1000,and my arp odyssey but the path is analog.
so yeah.. the easy answer is "yes"
i have a very firm background in analog electronics, and can go deeper into it, but only if someone really needs me to.
