hehe, that is the only top spin out there which runs custom rides. The spins that ride can make are seriously insane.

Also it's not a world record. discovery, when it was under a different owner did some kind of a puke run. 100 loops after eachother with no interruption. That is just sick [;)]

I've seen/done up to 21 on the Topspin at GAdv in like '99 or somewhere around there, along with my mom, but nobody believed me when I said it. Oh well...

Edit-wow, I watched after writing my comment...that's really ridiculous. My ride at GAdv consisted of like 12 or 13 locked backflips, then a mix of locked and unlocked rotations, which I liked. I think that 100+ flip one is just too much of the same force over and over, it'd probably give me a headache. The one at SFGAm was really short when I rode in 2005, all it did was invert 4 times...but it's rotation was so crazy fast (similar to the rotational speed in the video, more or less) that my vision kept moving vertically in the same manner it would in the horizontal direction if I were to spin in circles really fast. I wish the ride was a little longer, but that quick rotation was so much fun.

the part at 1:40 through 1:55 is a great 15 seconds of ride time, it seems the best.

Jeez, and I thought the Astroland Top Spin 2 was bad. Well it still kind of is with its meniacal, ride op revenge, swaying cycle of doom. Still 107 flips is pretty damn bad. I would have thought that you would come out as a pile of mush or something after that.

And dcs221, The GAdv Top Spin now runs on the worst cycle ever. I haven't seen it do more than two flips since...well probably since 99'. lol

Yeah I know Cygnus12, I rode it a few weeks ago... it's still tons of fun to me, but nothing compared to what it was/can be. I'm too tall though so it kinda hurts my shoulders but oh well, it's worth a ride here and there. At least it's not as mean as Scream Machine is to tall people lol, that's not a fun experience.

Did something happen in 99 or something? Like an accident or did they just decide to change it?

Yea, I saw this a couple of days ago. I would have most definately been sick. Probably not during the ride, because I would most likely had my eyes closed after the first 20 spins...lol, but most definately after.

I don't think anything happened, I think Six Flags simply doesn't want it to give an intense ride to appeal to more people. It's a little too tamed down though. They need to fix the brakes on it as well, they are very loud. Most park model Top Spins in the US have been toned down I noticed.

*barfs* HOLY CRAP!!! That ride must have been insane. I'd love to do one with like 20 or so flips like that, but 100+ is just too much. There's no way I would have been able to do anything else all day after riding that.

HOLY CRAP! I don't think I would handle that. Top Spins already do a number on me, but 107 spins? Crazy!
