So when i purchased my laptop, i was under the assumption that i'd have to eventually upgrade my video card.

but when i go to open up NL for the first time on here, i get a "Warning: No 3d Accelerator Hardware Found"

now i was dumbfounded by this, i thought i could atleast run NL on here. Anyway, i have a Dell Inspiron 1501, running Vista, and

Memory (RAM) 1.87 GB
Graphics ATI Radeon Xpress 1150
Gaming graphics 831 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk 97GB Free (139GB Total)

im still thinking i should be able to run NL on here, i have no lag or anything running RCT2 at 1200X800.

what's going on here?

I've discovered that NL has problems on most notebooks but before you commit suicide try updating the drivers for the VGA first.

Go to ATI's website and look for an update. Microsoft can't and won't do everything in relation with drivers, there's just way too much.
