Crimson

Today is the offcial annoucement of Crimson my newest lnog term project.

When I say long term I mean this'll most likely be out either by Cristmas or mid january.

Anyway the coaster is an Intamin giga coaster it's 325ft tall goes 94mph and will be about 7,000ft long (and I promise the layout will be better than cobalts) I want to make the ride gimmick free and jsut sweet sweet airtime.

The shape of the first drop just seems a little nasty. I think the exit of the crest looks a little early...

Is this better

I've also gotten started on the supports for the lift as you can tell cause I like to get the harder and more time consuming things done early.

I knida agree with Gerst here. That drop should have a little bit more freefall to it before it packs on the G's again.
Just an opinion but whatever.

That looks much better, Jer. To me at least. I'm not an Inta-Junkie that masters in shaping of the Intamins, that one just sort of popped up at me.

Looks like a fun ride so far.

What's that helix pull G wise, and duration?

At the moment the lats are really bad

it's aobut 2.3lats which will get better and pulls 5gs for a split second which then lowers to inbetween 3 and 4.

...It goes to 5.0 gs for a split second, then down to 3.0/4.0? Sounds to me like you have a pump. A ride wouldn't throw 5 gs at you and then go right back down to like 3.6 or 3.7 unless there an unstable point in the element. Check it out.

there is no pump i rode it twice in the editor and twice in the sim.

The gs stay around 3 and 4.

It could be that the banking shifts by 10* in the middle to try and control the gs.
