By default it would have to be support clearance. This being a realistic, more traditional woodie means that the actual track will need to be supported underneath. Not sure why you would even entertain the thought of having 2 rails + ties unsupported.

ATTENTION ALL CONTESTENTS:

Upon further review, I have decided to change the clearance of paths to 10 feet, from the original clearance of 15 feet.

^^but we're talking about clearance, which is by definition the open area between the ride and the path... so that 15 ft. specification is probably for the supports below the track, though I could be wrong.

EDIT: apparently it's now changed to an easier 10 feet. Thanks Jake!

Well I started thinking about a layout and I think I can come up with something, Count me in dude!

I've got a question, I was planning to put a two part lift on my ride like Twister's one. Does this count as one or two lift?

If it functions as one lift, then it's acceptable. If it's something more than Twister's lift(s) ( like more than a simple turn) it may be judged as two.

Well since the two lifts are just separated by a simple turn, I guess it's Ok.

The G-force of 3.8 is a little harsh.

Thunderhead goes at least 4 (I think)...

I doubt Thunderhead hits 4. Its positive G's arent anything to brag about. If anything its just the rides very fast rotations and quick transitions that make it feel really intense when its not.

its not harsh, its just a challenge.

I even feel as 3.8 is pushing it on a wooden coaster.

Well its the only reason to ask what you did. Wooden coasters need supports to hold up the ties and rails. Hence, it would be the supports - not the track itself. Its kind of a bundled feature.

P.S. There should be catwalks on the bottom half, I just forgot to re-do supports when I took the tunnels off.

Looks interesting. Basing on the pics I've seen, I'm wondering if ya'll carefully ead the rules...water may be built on.
