Well I had to dig deep for these, but here are some more drawings that I have done. All of them are simple pencil on paper drawings, except for Open Shirt 2, which is a pen and pencil rendering.[:)]

Hey that's some good quality stuff, I like it all (especially swimsuit ;) haha jp, good job though. Just as a suggestion I think you should try to add some more contrast in your pics, with some deep blacks for the really dark areas...I've found that my newer pictures look much better than my older ones because I've concentrated more on getting good contrast, and there's an obvious difference. So yeah I think that could help improve your stuff, because it already looks good and I'm sure will only get better as you learn new things.

My picture is of my cocker spaniel, Skittles. Ofcourse even the stuff that looks finished isn't necessarily finalized yet, but here's a comparison.

Thanks! Most of those pictures are unfinished; I just never got back to them. I am working on a new style, one that is more realistic. Too much contrast can make a picture too dramatic, but I see what you mean. I've been studying the work of my favorite artist - Boris Vallejo. I am going to take what I've learned of his style and apply it to my own.

Yeah like anything contrast must ofcourse be done in moderation, not just added for effect. Sounds like you've got a good plan, so I wish you luck with that.

Yeah, it's really going to be interesting. Have you ever seen his work? The man is a genius with oils. BTW, I love the picture you are painting of your dog, what medium are you using?

Thanks...it's a drawing, colored pencils. I'm pleased with how it's coming out, especially since this is only my second serious drawing with colored pencils.

No I haven't seen his stuff, but I'll google it later...but now, breakfast! lol

Sorry for huge file size - Ive begun shooting my pictures in RAW mode which makes them enormous. However, I get full control over exposure and other fun stuff so the picture will in the end look a whole lot better. I couldnt give you a crappy reduced version anyways.

I really enjoy doing stuff with fire and glowsticks and stuff with long exposures. This is just a candle and a boquet.

Until I get my new cameras will I begin to do full-on water/sky/cityscapes as opposed to the simplistic style that is Polaroid Minimalism that plagues my new gallery.

I'm waiting on my new Rolleicord III (or possibly my Yashica-D TLC if I'm lucky) to come in the mail! :D

I like that timelapse. I do probably 75% of all my work at night or in the dark working with time lapse. Its my favorite type of photography. So much can be caught with long shutter times and just the stark contrast that generally comes with it is very pleasing to the eye.

Some awesome sketches there princess. The one of the Wrestler is my favourite [:D] I like the first one aswell, she kind of looks like a Siren or something. WICKED.

heres one of my more recent sketches (sorry my new camera makes everything look really bitty and you cant see lighter pencil work...URGH![:(!])

Its from last year i did it at school. heres a pic of the piece i made in my 5 hour art exam aswell:

Image

Its acrylic painting with some pencil work and a screen print on glass all done within the time limit. I very nearly didnt finish. hahaha.

and heres a prep sketch for the above piece. It was done pretty fast obviously because it was part of my planning for the exam:
