A TON of FREE 3DS objects for your coasters...

If anyone is interested, I just found a site with HUNDREDS of FREE 3DS objects for DL. You just have to create a free account. I just tried a few in NL and they WORK!

sweet, good find, but how badly do they affect your fps rate? they look very detailed and in depth.

Haven't tried them in a full fledged coaster yet. I just built an AMD X@ system with a GeForce 7600 card. I'll let you know in a day or so...

Maybe I'll try adding to a pre-existing coaster to speed things up.

I tried 5 or 6 of the bigger ones. Don't seem to slow it up at ALL. We'll keep trying. Found some more links for free #3DS too:

Site says "Ok for personal use, not distribution" (paraphrasing). You'd just have to give a list of what you used in your coaster and where you got it to whomever wants to ride it.
