I've got my layout and smoothing done. I am adding the hand-built bracing on all of the higher banked turns as of now.

I really liked alton's entry. That was a good woodie.

<EDIT> Question: will I be DQ'ed if I have -1.3 verts., or will I just get a deduction?

^Deduction. But why not try to fix it? That's only .1g of force.

I was just asking because there is this one spot on my coaster that sometimes reads that it hits -1.3, but sometimes says only -1.2. I just wanted to make sure I knew just in case

Just let him be a blithering retard like always, it's easier to deal with it that way.

Have you guys ever heard of custom supports? Or even seen this?

It won't be very difficult to place supports that extend to the ends of the pathways.

Yer but that's ugly and a waste of time and effort when you can get just as good an effect avoiding it. Who wants to walk under a coaster where you can't see it? I'd rather look at it from the side.

A coaster isn't a painting, it's ride intended for thrills. I designed by coaster with that as my primary focus, to create a realistic, exciting CCI styled coaster. I also happen to think it looks better over the paths than beside them.

You must also try to avoid realism, because if you hadn't noticed, Cornball Express is a very similarly styled coaster and it is built almost completely on top of existing rides in the park. Maybe you should wait until it's finished, or until you can actually see some of the ride, before you make ignorant comments.

HAHA! Add your name to that list buddy, because after seeing your entry you are in no place to be criticizing anyone else's designs. Especially designs that you are blindly commenting on.

^cornball express as pillars on the walkways, yours won't. And extending the supports all over the paths will look ridiculously silly. Doesn't matter how good the tech is, it'll look so stupid...

A coaster's not a painting but an aesthetically pleasing coaster is a hell of a lot better than an unpainted piece of crap with a station made of a tarp and some old fence posts. It's not just made for thrill, if coaster's didn't look nice, parks wouldn't have the same atmosphere.

And the NMR thing looks good, but do you have any idea how hard it will be for you to do that?

Well.. good luck.. I guess..
