anyone know of any good programs for laying out drum tracks online that are free our cough cough limewire free. you know something simple that can have a midi output.

something more involved then guitar pro's drum tabbing.

Fruity Loops does a really good job with drum tracks. You can extract the MP3 with the free demo too. Pretty easy to use program too. Do a google search for it, I don't feel like it. [:P]

^Yea but FL Studio is really expensive I have the Producer edition. He just wants a drum machine. To get Drumsynth you must buy FL Studio then the plugin. I wouldn't recommend it unless you plan on producing music.

i wasn't a big fan of the musicshake too much, i got the feeling that it was more techno-ish. im into heavy rock/metal drums, and making that kinda stuff up.

explain..
there are a gaszillion websites wit free drum loops and samples..
but you mentioned a midi out.. ? that confuses me.. the importance of a midi out would certainly apply to a sequencer, or a drum machine, but you seem to be looking for soft ware , which you must already have if you are asking about drum sounds to record with it and softwar will not have a mid i output as midi is simply a code used my computers and electronic instruments to talk to each other.
so i imagine you are looking for one of them "all in one" programs.. liek
fruity loops..
acid,
maybe reason, .. but it's vst functions seem to be what makes it worth way more than i'll pay
i say you just gottas dig around.. theres plenty of high resolution drum sounds on the internet..
but i let you in on a secret.. i'll give away allll my drum machines if i rol up on a roland tr 909.. it'll run my sequencers AND my juno 60's arpeggiator and what the ever hell else..

I write all of my drum loops with the free Fruity Loops demo. Don't see where any purchasing/downloading is necessary.

i like beatcraft. i'll probibally stick to that one. I also found "rhythm rascal" which was really simple and awesome but it didn't have a china symbol, which, for my purposes, sucks.
