For some odd reason my internet explorer decided to make the fonts of the sites I visit huge. I didnt change any settings or download any new updates or something like that, and dont know how to change it back. Any help?

oh and ps. firefox can suck it.

Haha just felt like adding some debatable material to this topic.

control + scroll down on your mouse.
or
click the "page" button on the toolbar and fix the font size there
or
check the percentage thing in the bottom right of IE and set it to 100% or whatever you desire [lol]

Fixed, thank you sir. It was the font size thing that was in view, I guess I just never saw it there.

I simply love firefox. Its so much more secure than IE7. And the Firefox 3 Beta 1 is even better, everything loads so much faster and smoother, and is even a lighter load on your CPU and RAM!
EDIT: And for those of you that want to try the beta, here you go. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

I use both IE and FF. [:D]

Me too, working in FF, but IE has one big +, and that's the Favorites system. Therefore, when I need to use my favorites, I just use IE.
Oh, and another thing, they blocked every good site at school, so we just download FF and voil?????????, une noveau chance: We can play again :)

^FF has favorites also. You can transfer all your favorites over to FF from IE if you wanted also.

Yeah, but they don't work that well in the older FF's, and the new Beta version has too many errors and stuff.
In a few weeks, i'll have the new version too...

My mind was almost changed when I saw this page;
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD ... Myths.html

However, I have gotten so attached to Firefox over the last couple years I just don't want to leave it. I have literally created a completely custom theme/found extensions that allow me to do tons of things other browsers can't.

On my computer, its initial load is slower than IE by a few seconds. This is made up though by pages being loaded an average of 3.7 seconds faster in FF. (Yes, I tested) So, according to the results from the link above, IE is faster for them than a non-tweaked FF. For me though, its a different situation.

I wonder if all the 'facts' are actually correct. Obviously the page was created by a 'IE fanboy', which would want to make other browsers look bad.

My question to whoever made that FireFox myths page is- so what? In the end it's whatever works best for you. If you like IE because you're used to it? That's great (for you)! If you like FF because it's easier? That's great (for you)! If you like Opera because it's the fastest? That's great (for you)!

couldn't have said it better myself. all of these vs. threads are annoying as heck. if you use it and it works good for you, then all is good.
