I like English Bulldogs and want a pair of them, but those things cost an arm and a leg. Anyone got some that don't want them anymore [:D]

They're great dogs, but if you're still paying off medical bills, don't expect to be able to afford getting one or keeping it any time soon. Not only are they expensive puppies, but they are also more prone to skin and joint problems. I love em too though. If I had enough money, I'd get one of those and a great dane [:D]

But right now we have a dog named Sadie, and she's the cutest, smartest little dog ever. We're not entirely sure what breed(s) she is, but we think she has some shepherd, terrier, and chow in her. She's got the markings of a bunch of different breeds.

[lol] a pug is a cheaper alternative but not so much badass looking. As far as yourmut SMer, I am not a fan of them kind of dogs. I like them to look bad ass!

Cool dog, Smer. Looks like maybe part Collie (the short haired kind)? I used to have a collie a long time ago. They're good dogs.

I love animals. I want to get both a cat and a dog but we just don't have the room for them now. I want to some day adopt a Samoyed; it's my favorite doggie. If you're not familiar with the breed, this is what they look like:

Yes, but I had to destroy my creation as it grew to the size of a small village and ran a rampage firing it's lasers at unsuspecting government buildings, exclaiming "durkha durkha, mohammed jihad!", occasionally stopping to scratch it's giant claws up the side of a tree... it was a big news story a few years back, true story.

It is a cross of a golden retriever and a poodle! Best part is they don't shed.

I think if I ever get a dog on my own, it's definitely going to be a Boxer. Those are the coolest dogs imo.

This will be a long post because it's a subject I know a lot about.

Bulldogs are prone to skin and joint problems but, all breeds have their issues. pugs tend to go blind fairly young. Almost all of the bully breeds,(boxers, great danes, mastiffs, staffordshires, pit bulls, etc.) have hip and joint problems especially as they age. Samoyeds, American Eskimos, and the like have a high number of large, fatty tumors they often get.

No breed is "bad". A dog is only ever as aggressive or loving as the environment they are raised in. Shelter or stray dogs are always a gamble because they most deffinately will have abandonment issues, seperation anxiety, competitive or aggressive tendancies do to insecurities or past abuse. If you take in a dog that is not a puppy, be prepared to put effort into helping them break bad habits and feeling secure.

Most importantly, remember that a dog is not like a new appliance or piece of furniture. You can't get one and expect to just go on with your life the way you used to. They need a lot of time and attention. Also, 2 new dogs is chaotic but do-able, once you add a third, it's obnoxious.
