I just found this out from the CoasterDynamix.com Website, they are coming out with new, specialized model coaster trains for specific coasters. They will have raptor, alpengeist, griffon, batman, appollo's chariot, and millenium force. I going to buy the griffon trains because they look really cool. Here's the link:

Check em' out, I think that there awesome.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I always thought the CoasterDynamix stuff looked cool, it's just that I'm not willing to spend that much for a coaster model kit. The Scorpion costs $200 . . . At that price I could probably buy at least 8 Screaming Serpent kits off of eBay, or 4 Screaming Serpent kits and a few used PLC parts . . . Better yet, I could defiantly buy a MaxPass.

I think the Hydra trains are going to be top sellers, people really want to un-invert that track and try stuff. With the floorless trains their designs will look cool (and normal) and they won't have to cannibalize their expensive CoasterDynamix train investment. I really want to see someone try a recreation of Griffon with a CoasterDynamix set. Good to see that they?????????re paying attention to what people do with their product and are meeting a demand; maybe they?????????ll apply that logic to their prices next.

i achualy saw a griffon recreation on one of the pics from iaapa, it was on display there. I wish they could find a way to have the coaster manuever through the track at a real scale speed (i know it's basically impossible). once that happens, i'd consider buying the kit.

Cant wait to go to Dorney next year so I can get a Talon and Hydra. Those things looked just as cool as when I saw them on the DP online shop a few months ago.

Not AWFULLY close, its clearly a compromise on the layout. They didnt even go for the last turnaround area.

I am on the CD forums and they have said they didn't go for the full recreation but they did get some of the elements is because of space.

this is not an exact recreation, but it still would look damn cool somewhere in your house. I hope that CD will come out with a Griffon Recreation Model Set. That would be a top seller. For me. :P

Yeah it's impossible to scale down gravity, blame physics. If I ever have $200 sitting around and I can't find anything else to do with it I guess I would buy one, they just don't seem worth the price to me.

Also, on the griffon model. Does it actually stop at the top of the hill?

now that i look at it, i think that i might actually by either the appollo's chariot trains, or the griffon's trains, or maybe even the millenium force trains when they come out. help me decide.

CD has stated that there will be a new kit coming out in spring, but the details on it have been very vague.

I want the MF trains; well they look like MF to me; I didn't look really close. If they come out with the whole MF layout, that would be awesome, but I would be happy just having a sexy intamin model train sittin' on my desk.
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage
