First snow of winter!!!

up here in maine we got hit pretty hard with about 20" of snow in 2 days...both of which just happened to be snow days! Yay for 4 day weekends!

Austin,do you live there?It's an amazing,peaceful place.

In Italy snow just colors top of mountains and there's a spring sun everyday.
I have to say something:I love snow but when it falls down on Milan is just a big chaos!

yesterday we had out first, and it sucked. it didnt even cover the ground and was all gone by the afternoon

yes barone thats off my porch from my house, and weve got about 2 feet now looks like a great ski/snowboarding season . and its snowing so hard right now that i cant even see the edge of the pond! (picture above in barones post) looks like were getting about an inch every 5 or 10 minutes!

Youuuuu...lucky!It's beautiful...that kind of landscape can totally make me go away from the city!

Is it near New York?

its about an hour and a half north of great escape, lake placid 1980 and 1932 oylympics.. (no one lives here though surprisingly) (and i get nice rides on the bobseld track )... very very northern new york in other words.. about 5 hours from the city.. :\

Lake Placid?????I know that place[shocked].....I have a friend in Watertown and he told me about that...also near Vermont...
