You see I have Garageband for music editing and vocal editing, iMovie for video editing, iDVD for creating studio-like DVDs, Safari for web browsing, iTunes for organizing and buying music, iPhoto for organizing my photos and editing them, as well as iWeb for creating awesome websites that upload to .Mac with the click of a button [not to mention you can use your own domain name.] I also have iWork 08 that does everything I need an office program to do and shudloads of other stuff. I don't have a bunch of cords for periferals because I have a built in webcam and microphone, and a blutooth printer.

blah blah blah.
gaage band is neato, but essentially it sucks, it's all make believe.. like fruity loops for guitar.. i movie, however is RAD!!!!

Garageband can record live guitar and loop it. It's got different settings depending on the type of guitar you have that you can choose between and it can record it through the built in microphone with block out ambient noise on. The microphone has really good quality.

You're not making sense to me here.

You said below that everything came free aside from the .mac stuff. You bought something extra then instead of it coming free. Way to lie.

Like the 100 dollar security patch?

What? That doesn't make any sense.

Summary:
Cut the elitist crap. If you haven't noticed you keep getting banned from websites for it...

Retard I haven't bought .Mac, I just mentioned it. And iWork 08 comes on every Mac with a 30 day trial, and iLife is free, stop being a dumbass.

I've been banned from 2 sites my entire life you idiot, and the last site I got banned from was when I flipped out on a moderator.

Nothing to do with Mac. You're just an asshole.

$100 dollar security patch? Wtf are you talking about? OS X Leopard was $120 dollars and added a hell of a lot more features than Vista did, over 300!

MAC UPDATES ARE FREE YOU DIPSTICK!

10.5 costed money, but 10.4.1-10.4.10 were FREE.

You're a chuffing dumbass.

A 30 day trial is useless after 30 days....

Okay so it was a 120 dollar security fix with some pretty colors. Sorry I underestimated the value of pretty colors.

How are 10.4 and 10.40 a different number?

You have a serious impulse control problem.

nice jayman, that's definitely a huge step up. and these days, I don't see why you wouldn't build your own computer. everything else is a huge rip-off.

Indeed.

My stepmom gave me her laptop as she simply did not want a large 17inch notebook.

It is running Vista and only has 1gb of memory, so of course I immediatly started pricing out a new pair of ram modules. HP recomends I purchase 2gb of memory off of them for $1800. I lol'd over that for a while and eventually came across a pair of Corsair ram modules on Newegg for $40.

LOL.

He is funny. That's why I let his post go. And another reason, he only commented on you because you have been the annoying mac lover in the past and continued the tradition in this topic.
And you're going to ask for an example I'm SURE.
Here's one:
Your title.

It's not even a synth I have, it's just a keyboard input system. It has no speakers.

I don't play keyboards, so there's no reason for me to shell out money for a good synth. I use the keyboard input when I write music because it's much faster than dragging notes onto a staff. It was worth the $49 I paid for it just for the time-saving alone.

I don't do any recording or playback, I just use notation software to write music for the choir I direct. It works for me.
