I doubt it really gazag. It would be great to see that happen, but with the plan of the station and all, it seems unlikely.

And BTW that recreation in nolimits was not done by thorpe park i dont think. They wouldnt have a recreation like that this early, especially when they havent even been granted planning permission yet. Plus, one of the inversions is actually wrong on that recreation, if you look at the plans closely. It actually enters the last inversion from the bottom, NOT the top. So its definately not done by them.

Don't. That piece of crap isn't even worth it.

Start from scratch, shape the ride right, make it smooth, heartline it properly, and support it yourself (if you want to do a recreation, that is...) but if you just change from that one, we're allowed to rate you as though the design is fully yours...

lol I wonder if he'll be posting on this site soon ;). Does anyone know when this will ACTUALLY open? Cause I'm in England for a few days this summer, and I'm currently planning on visiting AT, but with the addition of this, who knows?

i'd deffinitly vistit thorpe anyway. Nemesis inferno pulls intense forces, collossus inverting 10 times, let alone stealth. Thorpe has almost as much to offer as Alton now.

PRESS RELEASE
31st January 2008

THORPE PARK is delighted to announce that on Wednesday 30th January 2008 Runnymede Borough Council granted full planning consent for the Park?????????s fourth rollercoaster, and construction will commence in May 2008.

The key element of the ride will be a ?????????beyond vertical????????? drop of 97????????? from a height of 100ft, before running through a number of thrill elements specifically developed for THORPE PARK. With four loops, the new rollercoaster will take the Chertsey based theme park up to number three in the world for total number of inversions, at an impressive 18 - ten ahead of the number two in the UK.

Located in the Canada Creek area of the Park, the new ride will offer thrill hunters an experience of a lifetime, creating a darker atmosphere never seen before at THORPE PARK. This new addition adds innovative thrills to the impressive portfolio already at the Park, including Stealth - Europe?????????s fastest rollercoaster, Colossus - the world?????????s first ten looping rollercoaster and Nemesis Inferno - the 4.5 G-force experience.

Peter Ronchetti, General Manager, comments:
?????????Building on the successful launch of the Park?????????s iconic ride Stealth in 2006, the new rollercoaster will add an element of edge to an already adrenalin packed breadth of thrills on offer. We are determined to establish THORPE PARK as the UK?????????s most thrilling attraction and adding this development to our current portfolio will certainly do that.?????????

Mini Construction Upadate Type Thing:

I was there t'other day and took a couple of pics of how they're diddlin'. Excuse the quality of the photos, I took them on my phone, so I know you can't see a lot of detail.

Also, what you cannot see is: Behind the trees on the right in the first picture and on the left in the second, there seems to be a massive amount of steelwork (steel mesh cages that goes in the concrete footers) already in the ground. HOWEVER, you are only able to see this while riding samurai, as such, I am unaware of exactly how "in the ground" they were, they may very well have been "on the ground" [lol]

Would be cool if that sweet drop was right out of the station.

...yeah, I was pretty lazy with my initial post, thanks Canadmos for clearing it up.
I can do a full on regular update, similar to what I did last year with Stealth if that's what people want. [^]
