Why my NL doesn't have the new water effect?

And yeah, I have on NVidia GF4 and DX9.0.

Someone can help me?

I have a GeForce4 MX 440 and DirectX 9.0c.

Reflections in max, waves in max too.

I have this problem. I've got every setting to the maximum, like Reflections, High Quality turned on, but it turns into like a mirror...

The MX series is ancient. Go out and get a new video card. Also, the MX 440 only supports DX8, just because you have DX9 installed doesn't mean it will use it.

If the water looks like a mirror, that might be because of the reflection setting within the track file itself.

Try turning down the reflection slider under water in the Terrain Setting menu.

So I have to download the DX8.1, and the new effects will work?

No, you need a new video card that will use DX9 then you will see the effects. DX9 has all the other versions that came before it still inside, so downgrading won't do anything.

Nope. If that was the case (DX8), the water would work. Unfortunatly the GF4MX series is only DX7. First DX8 card would be the GF4TI.
