Not the most exciting woodie in the world, but, whatever. It's a classic and a landmark for SFoT. at the same time. So I plan on putting a ****-ton of effort into this to make it as close as possible.

I have a few PoVs of the ride, and some off ride videos I filmed myself for fun and, of course, tons of pictures and my own personal experience.

However, if any of you peeps have ridden it, it would help if you pointed out or recommended areas of the ride that you think make it stand out and I will do my best to accurately recreate that area.

If you haven't even heard of the ride, well, visit the link below, or watch this PoV:

Shouldn't be too difficult to get pretty accurate.
Keep in mind that sometimes the hardest part of a recreation is the prelift, because it is the least photographed and often not included in POVs, so try and get a few rides on this thing to understand the proportions of the prelift for layout purposes.
Also, i noticed from the vid that the handrails appear to be higher than normal, could be wrong but raising the NL ones slightly make it look like you went to the extra bother of making it real.

I usually don't offer something like this, but ... If you take a look at one of my older designs called Secretariat, it was actually inspired by this ride. I'll admit that it packs much more of a whallup than the Judge Roy, but it could help you nevertheless (I hope) -- especially the first few hills prior to the turn-around.

I plan on doing that plus the little wood tidbits that you see on the left side of the drop here: http://www.rcdb.com/ig29.htm?picture=1

Also, for the prelift (and the rest of the ride), I'm timing it to see how long it takes to complete the straight section and then the turn and how long the turn lasts and then syncing it with the simulator.

And thanks for the track, Tcon, I'll look into it.[^]

There's ejector air time for the first car but not the rest of the car in the first hill. The rest has pretty much 0 air time through all the ride.

riccoaster is correct. Not once did I come out of my seat (front row) after the pop of air on the first hill. All the hills are too slow or have too wide a radius to get air. A great ride for kids though, considering it wasn't that rough, and there isn't too much airtime (which I remember not liking because of the feeling in my lower stomach when I was young).

I remember a pop of air I believe on the hill after the turn around. In the back of course.

But yeah, I know this coaster is airless and lame, but I still love it. [^]

FYI, I haven't posted pics yet because all I have is the station and pre-lift. And even that isn't done yet, so, yeah...
