Anyway, you'll get banned if you don't

Just read the rules and you know:
"Track and supports must be inside the outer red lines."

They are not called boundaries for nothing [lol]

An inversion counts as anything over 145 degrees, right?

Casper: 3ds are allowed, just no skate objects. So as long as you are not using your station building as a ramp or something, it's ok.

CoAsTeRkRazY: depens how you look at it. If you mean dropping out by actually losing because your track is less good than the rest, you won't get banned.

coasterguy77: yes

Emerican7: Please read the rules before asking silly questions

Gerstlcrazy: No

Dirk_Ermen: Where does it say it's forbidden?

Z00ZER: does that matter, there are no inversion limits or rules, so suit yourself

Props for a very cool and original template/idea. I like it.

It looks like one section of the skate park is a raised platform. Will there be points off if the supports go "through" the platform to the ground?

Can we terraform the ground up to the level of the platform?

^the 'platform' is solid ground, you can use it to anchor supports in or trough it, it doesn't really matter.

Also, will you ride the coaster several times when judging? Most of the time, my cars are spinning pretty well, but every so often I get a "dud" that hardly spins at all. I'd hate for it to be judged on that one ride!

Indeed i will ride several times in several seats to judge the spinning. You (allmost) never get the same spin in different rides. If you're lucky, you get a nice spin, but on the other hand, you might not get many spin at all. Riding several times would pretty much give me an estimate on the average amount of spin.

I'm still planning... I've never designed anything close to this before, so I'm kinda unprepared.

Mine's not godly work, but I'm making excellent time. If I don't finish the supports by this weekend I'll be screwed for time [B)]

Thank god I've finished trackwork: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p4427

^Looks pretty good!

I'm about half way through, and for once it's going awesome! I should be done trackwork by next week sometime, and then supports for the rest.

2 questions:

1, can we make a lift hill that levels off halfway through, or must it constantly be going uphill?

2, can we split one individual lift hill into 2 segments for blocking and speed purposes?

1. I suppose, as long as there isn't too much 'happening' between both liftsections

2. yes

Nope, nothing happens. It goes up the side of the ramp, then runs flat along the top of it for about 50 feet, then goes up another 60 feet. It's a continuous lift hill, aside from one tiny segment of 'normal' track about two feet long that splits the lift into two separate blocks. It's all one continuous motion that carries it to the top of the first drop.

Heck, it'd probably be easier if I showed you. Here... is this legal?

"Which means you won't get away with tunneltest or e-stop failures..."

Points off or DQ?

cjd - it's ok, go ahead

minicoopertx - if it was a DQ it would have been in the "DQ-list", so points only. However, since failing those tests makes the coaster very unsafe, it'll cost you ALOT of points. I'm sure (mostly) all of you are experienced enough not to make such mistakes

The tunneltest failure was just a tunnel-to-tunnel failure, but I fixed it.

Track is uploaded... I put NLTR1 in the file name, but forgot to put it in the title that shows in the exchange.

It's called "Skate Punk"
