There are about 50ish pictures, so, yea. Be ready.
For the second day of the pre-season, Hershey needs to work on the basics. If your arcade games dont work, dont plug them in and let guests know. Please?
The park was PACKED! Really surprising until we remembered that tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Lines were all over the place. Every open ride had at least a 20 minute wait. Longest wait was about a hour and 15 minutes but that was only due to a small issue at Fahrenheit.
Storm Runner, finally, after 5 years of trying, I got on it. While it "did" stuff, it was sort of a case of anticapointment. Oh-well.
I also have a new #1 wooden coaster. Wildcat fully loaded kills Phoenix IMO and take the place as my favorite wooden coaster. It really shows when a GCII is half or less loaded compared to fully loaded in terms of speed.
Red side of Lightning Racer was winning all day. Fun ride. IMO its a bit better then the green side but not by much. Falls into #5 on my wooden list taking the old Wildcat spot.
Comet was a nice little out-and-back coaster. Nice to see that Hershey still uses skid brakes like Knoebels. If only on A ride.
Fahrenheit is always great. While it did brake down for 20 minutes, and caused us the longest wait, it still delivers. Good #2 coaster in my steel ranking.
Great Bears second train was still in rehab for being addicted to steel rails. The one train out there though was showing off a new paint job. I skipped it due to a one train operation. SooperDooperLooper was also skipped to get the Comet credit. I love a good Swarskopf(sp?) though. Wild Mouse was over-flowing the queue and not worth the wait when I got to that area. I also skipped Sidewinder for obvious reasons. The water-coaster was closed for obvious reasons. I mean, its not summer yet.....is it?
