TR: legoland windsor05/04/2010 (photo heavy)

me again with another photo trip report

so me and me sister decided to go out this morning and we ended up at legoland.

we got there to find it was fairly busy (it is easter so it was expected). the entry wasent to bad as managed to get her in for half price with a BOGOF voucher with another family.
it was a loverly day to be out and about and the view from the top of the hill was great, could see past london which is awsome.
few new thing to explore here. the technic (ride in a box) coaster has gone as construction for the legoland hotel is underway. the pirate land has had a makeover with a new pirate ship and lots of new themeing. the laser raiders was open and was an ok shooting ride but was pretty poor on the dispatch.
on this park really needs to improve on is dispatch procidures. same as any other park but extreamly slow. the staff was litrally running the rides at full but because they were slow halfing the ride capacity.
this is the first and only park i have seen running a 4D cinema all day but plaing 4 diffrent movies so you could go on 4 diffrent experiences. we went on 2, lego racers and bob the builder 4D. bob is amazing he can build a rollercoaster in an afternoon.

anyway im shure your all more intrested in the pictures. lots of lego in here not many rides lol but lego land is about the lego and the awsome shows they put on so enjoy.

indoor froger hoppers, very cool for kids and very embarasing for the 1 adult who sits in the middle

they destroyed a painful coaster for a hotel, shame on legoland

this is the room to go to if a kid headbutts you in the groin

this is the actueal legoland theme park, its actually made of lego


look, its a coach that later that day crashed down the hill


the oblitory pirate themed area that all parks in the UK must have


these parts must involve some sort of ride involving a boat and water


more slapstick movies while waiting for the flume. these are actually pretty well done movies and do keep people entertained

poor lillte sad pink dragon, my sister wants to take it down


these waterfalls dont turn off. this is one very wet water ride indeed, cannons, spiting rats, leaking gods and buckets.


a red dragon and a blue dragon, no other ride in the would has both of these right?...RIGHT!!!!!..... damb straight


hey look its the only roller coaster photo i got all day of the little dragon. this is better than the big dragon coaster


i got rid of my egg beater, no need to be scared anymore kiddys ahhhhhahahahahaah.

finally the lifesize buzz lightyear, disney needs a lego one. he just looks more awsome in lego.

summery of the park:-

-the dispatch of all rides is poor and this is down to the staff not the rides it needs to be improved
-the park is very family but is worth a look
-the ripids there kick ass
-laser raiders isnt worth a 30 min que
-when in the lego model village look for funny little additions
-go see bob the builder, its a good 4d movie
-dont let the kids get you down its a good atmosphere
-the small dragon coaster is better than the big one
-the flume is also awsome
-see the shows, they are fantastic
-finally buy a lego keyring in the shop. they are wicked
