Hey guys I started a new project early this morning. It started out as just messing around with the editor, but with a rocky start, turned into a whole new direction for coasters. This coaster has an upside down launch at 23MPH to take you up the 195ft. tall hill.

So far I've made a turn out of the station leading to a jojo roll which leads to a small hop and to a break run before heading to the screaming squirrel-like structure. I'm not sure if the name will stay yet or not, but the meaning is Fear-A Whole New Breed Of Coasters. I finished supports on the lift/drop structure and I wanted to get your opinions if it would hold up in real life or not. Everyone's entitled to their opinions [:p]

Interesting idea. What do your forces look like though? It seems they will be high for longer than they should.

Also, you got up there in a cool way...why not have a sick drop? Yours isn't that steep and is pretty drawn out. Maybe consider having a break run at the top, and a 80ish degree drop down the other side...maybe even something like EGF's drop, to kill the linearity early.

Excellent idea! I did try a sort of double down, but the forces were high so I cut it. Yea the forces are kinda high on the upside down section, but it's nothing I could fix. So I decided to speed up the launch a bit to get you up there quicker

I changed the drop and made it even more twisted than an Expedition GeForce drop. I made it a signature twisted drop [:p]

Hey this is looking good but, I think it needs some tinkering to make it really good. For the element after the launch make it a perfectly smooth S to make the drop look really cool. I would personally make the top a smooth parabola or make it almost a circle round make it like a even arch, then go with a 100 degree drop even with a heartline twist.

All in All looking good.

you should totally cut the end off that drop and force it into a helix or wide turn.

Yeah, I agree the drop would be more effective if the g's weren't positive in the middle... maybe try similar banking with near 0 g's? Worth a shot I'd say, even if you decide to stick with this shaping.

UPDATE (2/10/07)

I added a double-down after the immelman, a helix, brake run, a drop interacting with the first brake run, and a completely new element to the ride to keep the feeling of the first initial lift. If anyone can come up with an innovative name for this element and I use it, I will give you 1,000 points! [:p]

The speed in the inversion is 15 MPH, slower than the lift hill and since you aren't upside down as long as the lift, it should be sustainable. Remember to name this inversion and whichever name I decide to use, that person will receive 1,000 easy points [:p]

BallerBoi and many other designers can heartline their rides VERY well. I'm not telling him he has to. I just wish he would at least try...

I'd give it a try if I knew how. And as for the track, I'm gonna have to bust my ass on supports now becuase I hate how Scream Machines messes up your custom supports if you screw up anything. So now I have beams stretching to all kind of weird places that I have to fix

UPDATE:

Fear has a new name and may also get a new paint color, but I'm currently working on supports and plan to have it uploaded sometime after midnight. So be prepared, cuz you're spinning out of control!
