I'm not getting much inspiration either, though I got a bit far on the layout. I got GMod yesterday, and I have been playing that a LOT. I should have time though, I am on Mid-Winter school break.

I'm flooded with ideas, I just haven't had the time to get them working yet. I'm using FVD for this round, so no more s***ty straight-lined out-and-back coasters for me. I'm going for something really twisted this time, and kind of a hybrid between GCI and GG.

I wish I could use FVDs. They're just too complex for me + I don't have time to learn them.

This round I'm thinking of writing two English papers, three lab reports, and studying for 5 tests.

Im ctually finished with the layout and am starting custom bracing!
But i had serious trouble getting it 800m long...
Anyway, its fast paced, maybe a little to fast, has tremendous forces and barely passes tunel test.

Guideline, but remember to use the steel 1.5(5) tunnel to tunneltest, the 1.6 steel and wooden tunnel are way to large for tunneltesting. Seriously failing tunneltest will result is huge tech-score deductions.

Any idea how to put 1.5 tunnels on the ride when you've got the 1.7?

Alright, I'm relieved that my track passes easily with the 1.55 Tunnels. Thanks Hyyyper

Is it realistic for a GCI to have multiple tunnels? Or even one?

It was going well then i lost everything. I've completely lost the file. I did a search but cant find it anywhere. Started again today though and i'm building a similar layout, just picking it up where my other one fell.

I've got a tunnel test question since this is a wooden round. If a support is inside the tunnel, but outside the handrail, is this a tunnel test failure or not? I can see why it would fail normally, but the handrail is closer and is not a problem...

^read the topic please. Tunnels that i use to tunneltest are the 1.5(5) steel tunnels

I understand, but the auto-support handrails are inside the 1.5 tunnels, especially on turns, so if a vertical support is inside the tunnel but not as close as the handrail, is it still a tunnel test failure?

Here's an example of what I'm talking about: http://www.rcdb.com/ig3757.htm?picture=40
This would fail tunnel test, but it is not any closer to the rider than the handrail.

I see, well, handrails and catwalk to tunnel collision will not count. As it very easy to touch handrails and catwalks on woodies if you really try.

When tunnel testing a woodie there is a certain amount of common sense involved, which should be taken into account whilst rating.
