This shall be my last opposing argument to my disqualification.

I would like to share four pictures with you
(Nothing has been done in any way to modify my ride to show you these pictures. You can do it if you like to. I moved the snap to .5 feet which allowed me to exactly mark 20 feet with the blue boundry line.

Picture one:
Image

This picture shows my supports with nodes, but do realize that the only place on the node where the supports are connecting is the center line, which is not intersected into the blue line. This shows the two lines are parallel. (support line and boundry line) meaning that the support line must be below 20 feet.

Picture 2:
Image

This shows the support line and boundry lines with there nodes zoomed in even farther. (using the paint application). This picture shows a very little separation between the red and blue lines, meaning that there is no connection other than the part of the support node that is not involved with the connection of the support.

Picture 3:
Image

This picture shows the setting under the display menu where you can change whether the free nodes appear or not. No nodes have been deleted, they are just being hidden for better viewing purposes. This shows that the red and blue lines are exactly parallel, meaning also there is not interception breaking 20 feet.

Picture 4:
Image

Last, this picture is of the support and boundary line with their nodes being hidden. Again, as you can see, there is no interception whatsoever. They are exactly parallel.

This is my last attempt to prove my DQ unfair. I will not attempt to agrue any more.

Ok, so here's the thing. I zoomed in as you said and it appear that indeed, your red line is 1 pixel onder 20ft.

BUT

In the rules there were given 2 options. 6m and 20ft, which comes down to 19.89ft and 20ft. Now what do normal people do when they have 2 options.

1. they play safe and go under the lowest numbers
2. they play a little less safe and take the average of those two as limit
3. they play very unsafe thinking the judge is a retard and go with the top limit.

Now, in two of those cases, you are DQ'd. In the 3rd case, i had to zoom in with paint to see that you were 1 pixel of the hightest limit. What judge does that? Next people will be banned straightaway, i guess it was my fault to not say that the ft measure was an estimate and that the metric was the final. But it was also my mistake of actually listening to your emo wining.

I don't care what happens, but this argument is annoying so I decided to look for myself...if you ask me lewis13 is clearly right about everything being under 20 feet. I tried zooming like he did, and there is a tiny bit of space between the blue line, which I found to be at exactly 20 feet. Now, the 6 meters listed in the rules is equal to less than 20 feet. However, wikipedia (yeah it's not official but it's better than not even considering this thought) says the forward slash, as seen between "6 meters/20 feet," in the rules is "very often ... used to represent the concept or, especially in instruction books."

Conclusion:
-The rules state the track must be below 6 meters "or" 20 feet.
-Lewis13's handrail did not reach the support which marked 20 feet as accurately as possible within the game.
-Lewis13 cares way too much...
-...but he is correct that his track should not be disqualified for what was actually not a rule infraction.

btw you all suck at zooming and such... here's a good picture, with no modifications to the track of course:

I'm still agreeing with Lewis. I'm not seeing the DQ either. I got 19.94 when I zoomed in all the way and checked the height. Perhaps hyyyper could post some counter-pictures showing us where he is seeing the supports going above the line?

read the 2nd post on this page, Lewis' handrails did stay under 20ft. But since it did not stay under 6 meters, it's not a pass. Perhaps i should have stated more clearly that the metric system was going to be used as limit and the imperial measures were there to estimate the limits for the people using the imperial system. Perhaps Lewis could have asked which of the limits was going to be measured with (espec when this track is between those limits). Or perhaps lewis could have stayed in the safe zone and stay half a feet under the line.

What i do know for sure is that: 1. Lewis is DQ'd, 2. You all learn from this beautifull example not to go on the edge when it comes to these things. 3. All my future contests will be measured in metric and nothing else, you do the conversions yourself.

Unless you can prove otherwise (aka find a site that refutes those I've quoted), you're wrong based on what I said about the slash in your initial post hyyyper, but unfortunately you're the judge so it sucks for Lewis13 that he was just jipped out of his fair chance to compete. I agree it wasn't a smart decision to get that close to the edge, but at the same time, as of right now he's suffering because of your mistake.

You're the judge so do what you want, but if you'd like to do this contest right the whole way through, now's a good time to try not to get offtrack.

Yes, perhaps i would have needed to put the imperial measurement between ()'s so show that the metric rule would be measured with. That's why the blue line was also at 6m and not 20ft.

Also, i could DQ'd Lewis for changing the template and/or going over the blue line in the first place.

Isn't messing with a template grounds for that anyways? That's why i never understood the big deal. All of this could have easily been avoided with some thinking and the ability to not mess everything around.

I don't think gazag's ride should be DQ'd. I think it actually has two trains.

Lewis, you are a baby. Like CKidmwm said, if he moved the line he should be DQed anyway.

It is a I Love You!ing game, accept you being disqualified.
It is a I Love You!ing site, 2 weeks banned is not even a reason to cry.
