Illegal Music Downloading allows poor teenagers with no money to get inspirational music which may have an influence to turn that teenager in a better direction for a bright and prosperous future which, as a poor teenager, may not otherwise be a possibility in their life.

Complete opinion, and with the music that many listen to nowadays, I'd say the opposite is more true.

Downloading music illegally takes less time and allows more freedom and higher quality audio then what you can purchase through a store such as Itunes.

For example, if you want to use a song to edit a video, mp3 files have no DRM (digital rights management) scrips in them so you can use it as you please. Also, if you want to download a song with a higher quality rate you can generally choose what bitrate you want based off of what is being shared. Itunes only offers their songs in 128kbps audio format.

[lol] anyway, i got a serious one:

if you download illegally, the feds can track the download to your computer's IP adress (or something like that) and then have the record company sue you and take you to jail if youre over 18. right now theyre only doing it to the ppl who constantly download illegally, but in the future they may do it the first time you download illegally...

...hope that helps. [:D]

Paranoid much? It does happen, but you do not need to preach it.

* No DRM
* Higher Bitrate ( Quality ), CD's are shipped with 128k bitrate ( Needs citation )
* Allows you to trial a album before purchasing.
* Quicker
* Can play and move onto many devices.

Not really many pro's.

Yeah you need citation. CD's aren't written in MP3 format, they are written in something called Red Book Audio (.WAV is the closest thing file format to it), sampled at 44,100 kHz, 16 bit, stereo, and 1,411.2 kbit/s.

Had to fix some stuff.
