i love this constant bickering that goes on between mac and pc users! the only thing windows has going for it is the fact that most people have it, and therefore there are a lot of programs for it. if you want something that is easy to use and works, you use mac, if your a computer geek, you use linux, simple as that. plus! i like surfing the internet unprotected and not getting anything.
but as far as the whole nolimits thing..... you might be able to use parallels for the programs, or just make the track in mac, and smooth it in windows, or you could send it to a windows user to smooth it for ya.

I don't worry about the lack of tools for Mac. It really isn't that big of a deal.

I don't think there's any possible way that this thread could become a flame war . . . .

Well the decision should be pretty simple.

If you want to have more tools at your disposal, then obviously you will have to use a PC.

If you have fun with your Mac, then stick with that.

I recently switched to mac. I have a windows NL License so I have to use a BootCamp partition to use nolimits on Windows, this is the best way for a mac user to have access to all the NL tools.

Hope this helps [;)]

i put the heartline generator and some tracks on a flash drive, so all i have to do is plug it into a pc and work from there. work on the tracks in mac, and tool them using boot camp or one of your friends computers, simple as that!

all i can say is practice alot. As you see my coasters you can make a smooth ride without any other tool next to NoLimits.

All of the "do it in Windows via Boot Camp" answers assume that he would be willing to infect his Mac with Windows.

Not worth it.

Get VMWare fusion if you're willing to pay 80 bucks for it. Or just run your software in bootcamp.

Switching to a PC for this reason would be pointless.
